Inner Child Connection Meditation

Recording of my set from the first sunrise of Fusion Festival 2025 ❤  

Thank you Dubstation crew for having me at your wonderful stage and big thanks to all the beautiful souls who came and danced with me! 🙏 Probably my favourite set so far, with the most welcoming open-hearted crowd I could wish for 🥰

Usually I get an hour and half so I mostly play the music I released, but this time I got 3 hours so I played lots of other tunes as well! Even played one unreleased tune I wrote recently ☺️

As my slot was during that transitional part of the day when darkness turns into light, I tried to create a journey which would follow that natural rhythm. During the night I played some heavier bass music, dubstep & drum and bass, then as it started to become brighter I transitioned to downtempo, psybass & psydub, and as the sun came out I finished with come chillout and ambient to welcome the new day 🌞

Playing some of my favourite music while the sun was rising and shining through the trees directly on the stage, with all the dancing smiling people soaking it all up, was something truly magical! ✨😇

What does it mean to become like a child in the eyes of God?

In Matthew 18, Jesus places a child before his disciples and says, “Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” This Sunday, Cindy Liu invites us into a deep reflection on what it means to encounter our inner child and return to a childlike posture—one of vulnerability, authenticity, and spiritual wholeness.

Drawing from Scripture, her deep inner work of healing, motherhood, and her work as an Ontological Integration Life Coach, Cindy will guide us on a journey back to the very child within us whom God has never stopped seeing and loving, regardless of how old we actually are. In welcoming that child, may we once again encounter the liberating love of God.

Come as you are—tender, guarded, or weary—and remember: God’s loving gaze has never left the child in you.

Inner Child believes that artists and scientists are like kids that never quite grew up, and she is a bit of both. As a marine biologist, musician and bioacoustician, she often immerses herself in the world of sound...

Sara Niksic a.k.a. Inner Child is a marine biologist, ecologist, musician, bioacoustician, award-winning composer, storyteller and educator.  Her scientific work has taken her across the world’s oceans – from Croatia to Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, California, New Caledonia, Greenland and Antarctica. For over a decade she has been studying marine mammals, with a special focus on their vocal communication, social learning and culture, as well as developing innovative approaches to science education through art. Besides having a master’s degree in marine ecology and nature conservation, she also finished music school and different courses in electronic music production.

Through her Inner Child Music record label she released a few albums of her own music, as well as compilations on which she collaborated with some of the top producers in the electronic music scene. She was voted the ‘Best New Artist for 2020’ and her albums won several awards. Her compositions float through various downtempo styles and usually contain nature recordings, most often from the ocean. Her award-winning music with whale songs has been archived by the British Library and featured in the global media including The New Yorker, Whalebone Magazine and BBC Radio.

Inner Child presented her work at some of the biggest scientific conferences, institutes and music festivals in the world, such as World Marine Mammal Conference in Spain, Falling Walls Science Summit, Berlin Science Week and Silbersalz Festival in Germany, Falling Walls Engage Hub in South Africa, Edinburgh Science Festival and Diverse Intelligences Summer Institute in Scotland, Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences and Sea Sound Festival in Croatia, Masters of Puppets Festival in Czech Republic, Mumush Festival in Romania, Rolling Hertz and Twisted Frequency Festival in New Zealand, Boom Festival in Portugal, Ozora Festival in Hungary and Fusion Festival in Germany.

After years of living abroad, she is now back in her homeland of Croatia, where she is creating music and other magical stories in her studio by the sea.
