rDream - New West Coast [Full Instrumental Tape]

In December 2021, highfield released the first of the two “winter” EPs under a different pseudonym. Both of these works were produced exclusively on the SP404A sampler from Roland, which is why they were later combined under the name “SP404 projects”. 
At the beginning of 2025, around 3 years later, highfield came across the folders of the two works again while digging through his hard drive and decided to remaster them and release a rework version.

highfield is a producer, DJ and gear head. 
His main interests are sample-based music from the 90s and early 2000s. Starting in 2016 with hip hop beats, influenced by the underground scene of East Coast US rap, to electronic dance- and breaks-music such as jungle from the turn of the millennium. 
In addition to music production, highfield also focuses on other subgenres. As a DJ, he not only plays jungle and electronic music in local clubs, but is also the host of several radio shows at stayfm.com, a non-commercial online radio station in Augsburg. 

highfield's goal has always been to move away from the mainstream and towards alternative subgenres of all kinds.
