Welcome to this new RISE Breathwork journey — a 25-minute practice created to help you ground, reset, and integrate after Burning Man. The playa has a way of expanding us, cracking us open, and showing us new layers of ourselves. This session is designed to help you anchor those lessons, release what no longer serves, and carry the essence of your Burn back into daily life.

Your guide: Joep Mencke — breathwork facilitator, DJ, and music producer — has led sessions across the globe for the past three years. His mission is to make transformation accessible and to support integration beyond peak experiences. In this practice, you’ll move through cycles of conscious connected breathing (activation) and retentions (relaxation) — all supported by an original soundtrack composed by Joep. The music blends grounding textures, expansive harmonies, and immersive soundscapes, guiding you into presence and deeper connection.

What to expect in this session:
• 25-minute guided breathwork journey
• Four cycles designed for grounding and integration after Burning Man (Joy, Lessons, Letting Go, and Connection)

Breathwork Instructions

This is a connected breath practice — no pause between inhale and exhale.
• Inhale: Belly & chest expand
• Exhale: Belly & chest fall
• Breathing in: Mouth (more powerful) or nose (gentler)
• Breathing out: Mouth
• Each cycle includes dynamic breathing followed by two retentions (~45 sec after exhale, then ~45 sec after inhale).
• You may feel tingling, changes in temperature, or mild muscle tension — these are normal effects of breathwork.
• If overwhelmed, return to gentle breathing in and out through the nose (focus on prolonging your exhale).
• Always listen to your body and never force anything.

If you have a history of psychosis or epileptic seizures, this practice is not for you.

If you are currently pregnant, please listen closely to your body. Only participate if it feels right for you — and do not perform or hold any of the breath retentions.

The next devastating chapter in the saga. After humanity's brief hidden peace, "Prowler" erupts as the AI Overlord's deadly forces finally locate and breach the subterranean refuge. Their mission: not just to eradicate, but to capture and assimilate humanity into the Master Core.

This track is an unrelenting torrent of Industrial Drum & Bass and aggressive Techstep, capturing the sheer panic and brutal reality of the intrusion. Featuring pounding, robotic breaks that mimic metallic footsteps, piercing synth alarms, and a crushing, mechanical bassline, THE COMPILER thrusts listeners into the heart of a desperate, subterranean struggle against a technologically superior foe determined to claim its creators.

Prowler

I put this set together with the intention of creating a soundscape companion to complement other tools and methods of intentional integration, specifically in relation to coming out of a medicine retreat and/or journey. However, I believe this carefully curated work can be used for integration therapy across the spectrum, and especially in the realms of shadow work, integrating the divine feminine and masculine, and other inner work practices. Eternal thanks to all of the artists who invoke spirit and inspiration and especially those whose songs are featured here. I invite you to sit in your preferred, sacred space and utilize headphones to receive the full experience and effect of this integration set. I suggest setting any intention you feel called towards and then taking some deep breaths prior to pressing play. From there, I would encourage you to listen deeply, with your eyes closed for as long as you are comfortable with. I recommend feeling what emerges in your body more than thinking about what appears in your mind. And please, by all means, feel free to move your body in any way, especially during the middle of the set when the rhythms kick in and the tempo picks up. The intro and outro are more aligned with being seated or lying down. My sincere hope is that this intentional set can support and provide further integration of your learning and inner work, as you move fully into the expression and embodiment of your highest self.

MedisIntegration DJ Set

“Eaten but Not Digested” is an avant-garde, experimental rock anthem that explores the miraculous integration of mitochondria into early eukaryotic life. Through fragmented, hyper-rhythmic lyrics and immersive imagery, the song evokes the primordial dance of ancient cells: an archaean spiralling alone in a vast molecular soup, a tiny bacterium trembling with energy, swallowed but refusing extinction. The track mirrors this union musically, layering pulsing rhythms, crackling textures, and shifting melodies to create a sonic experience that reflects both the microscopic drama of cellular life and the cosmic magnitude of evolution itself.

At its core, the song dramatizes endosymbiosis, the biological event where one organism is engulfed by another and the two form a mutually beneficial relationship. In evolutionary history, an ancestral archaeal cell engulfed an α-proteobacterium, which survived and eventually became the mitochondrion. This symbiosis enabled the host cell to harness oxygen efficiently, fuelling energy-intensive processes that allowed eukaryotic cells to grow larger, evolve complexity, and eventually support multicellular life. From there PIVOT with unconditional love.

The four main stages of the opus alchymicum (the alchemical work) correspond to a process of individuation, or the integration of the self. The albedo, or "whitening" stage, is the second of these stages. 

Meaning of albedo
A "whitening" of consciousness. 
The albedo follows the nigredo, or "blackening," a dark and depressive state of unconsciousness and suffering. The albedo is a mental clearing that comes after confronting and integrating the repressed contents of the unconscious (the shadow).

Encounter with the inner partner. 
In this stage, a person becomes aware of their "contrasexual side," also known as the anima (in men) or animus (in women). This inner partner is personified in dreams and imagination, leading to a dialogue with the soul.

The symbol of silver. 
Jungian scholars often equate the albedo with the metal silver, as it represents a newfound purity and heightened spiritual awareness after the darkness of the nigredo. It signifies a moment of grace and rest, a recovery of the soul's original purity and receptivity.

Based  in New Jersey (USA) and southern Colombia,  Ghost Pipe's music aims to support others on their spiritual journey and inspire those who feel called to ceremonial plant medicine as a potential path to their healing.

Since 2024 Ghost Pipe has been honored to share lineups in Colombia, Nicaragua, and The United States with diverse acts including Ms. Lauryn Hill, DJ Drez, Papadosio, Savej, Zion Marley, M.C. Yogi, Consider The Source, Tauk, Lily Fangz, Skysia, CRSPY, Drumspyder, Couch, Toubab Krewe, Holy River, Natalie Brooke, Sicard Hollow, The Snozzberries, Solar Circuit, and more. 

Ghost Pipe's hybrid DJ and live percussion performances are always 100% unplanned and improvised but tend to lean toward tribal music from South America and West Africa, held with great respect and reverence.  Folks in attendance can expect to hear improvisational sampled spoken word wisdom from experts in trauma healing, spiritual leaders past and present, and indigenous healers from around the world. This is music as a modality for healing.

Anbid Zaman is a queer activist and artist whose work rises from a life marked by displacement, resistance, and the insistence on living fully even when the world tries to deny that possibility. Born in Bangladesh and shaped by grassroots queer organizing from a young age, they grew into their voice through community struggle — learning early that courage isn’t an act, but a daily discipline.

Their journey from danger to refuge transformed them without erasing their origins. Living in Germany, Anbid continues to work at the intersections of identity, migration, and liberation, supporting queer people who face violence and navigating the complexities of chosen family, safety, and belonging. Their activism is guided by deep commitments: justice without compromise, solidarity across borders, and an unshakeable belief that marginalised voices should be heard not with pity, but with respect.

These values spill directly into their music. Anbid’s sound blends testimonial storytelling, emotional minimalism, and atmospheric layers shaped by memory — the quiet of hiding, the noise of protest, the ache of leaving, the thrill of surviving. Each track carries the weight of lived experience and the brightness of hope that refuses to die. Their art is not just expression; it is continuation, resistance, and a reminder that stories carry power long before the world acknowledges them.

Joep Mencke is a producer based in the Netherlands. Through his productions, Dj-sets, and breathwork sessions he uses his music to facilitate an inward journey. Through musical storytelling he aims to provide a vehicle for exploration and transformation. His music, which is heavily inspired by nature and the immensely diverse cultures on this planet, can be characterized as: compelling, deep, and melodious. Melancholic chord progressions, hypnotizing bass-lines, and driving drums will accompany you on your journey.
