No Signal

An example of the EM/RF noise that plagues my guitar signal. Starts with just the gates turned off. You can hear the clip change when the noise becomes louder. Second has all the ground lifts in the pedal/amp chain removed. Third has all ground lifts between connections to the interface removed. Fourth has some of them back in, which made the noise even louder. Then I play a little with two noise gates engaged, pausing so you can hear the noise before the gates kick in. Recorded thru the Badlander 50W, no pedals or EQ, thru an Eminence Texas Heat with an SM57 and MD421. Mics are mixed until I start actually playing a little, then it switches from one mic to the other, to both again.
