
C’est un musée en forme d’écrin conçu pour accueillir les joyaux d’un des siècles les plus raffinés de notre histoire : le XVIIIème. 
Au cœur du Marais, le musée Cognacq-Jay est situé dans l’hôtel Donon. Habillé de boiseries précieuses, il abrite une sélection de peintures, d’arts décoratifs, de mobiliers ou encore de tapisseries qui attestent du raffinement des arts, des savoir-faire ainsi que des pratiques sociales du siècle des Lumières.
À l’origine de ce projet admirable, un couple visionnaire, d’origine modeste, Ernest Cognacq et Marie-Louise Jay. Après avoir fait fortune grâce à leur magasin, la Samaritaine, ils deviennent des collectionneurs avisés qui s’entichent du goût et des arts du XVIIIème siècle. 
Pour le découvrir cette collection, j’ai rendez-vous avec Saskia Ooms, responsable de la conservation des collections du musée Cognacq-Jay, Sarah Dubuisson-Gonnet, restauratrice, Sylvia Gagin, conférencière.

Ulshafer says that there are some words that Yogis should refrain from using…and sometimes not! Rev. Dr. Tracey is the founder of One Yoga and Wellness Center, which operated as a physical studio in New Jersey until 2022. Dr. Tracey continues to escort international yoga and healing retreats. Her self-published, award-winning fictional book, The Accidental Yogini, continues to be praised as an easy read with digestible yoga philosophies spread throughout.
