1. Most exciting club moment?

“Playing at Warung Beach Club mainstage this year. The set was almost 4 hours, and the energy from the dance floor was amazing.”

2. How would you describe your sound?

“Today I would say that my sound is serious, a bit dark sometimes, it is based in Techno, and always with melody, harmony and energy.”

3. DAW?

“Ableton Live”

4. What keeps you going?

“No doubt it is my love for music, and the pleasure of creating songs that I really believe in.”

5. What do you listen to besides electronic music?

“Usually I listen to Rock, mostly independent Brazilian bands.”

6. You in 10 years?

“Making music and touring around the world.”

7. Favorite DJ Setup?

“Mixer Allen & Heath Xone 92, pair of CDJ 2000 Pioneer, and a delay and reverb pedal.”

+++description: Introduction EP was the kick-off release by Below Surface and Florian Bo, teamed up as Absorbed in 2014. First released on another imprint, it was time to come home and be part of the Be Sure catalogue in 2020. This EP is still very popular today and is getting hundreds of views every week via the liveset recording of Absorbed's gig in Tresor Berlin. We are excited to see if this EP will still be pumping strong for another five years.

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. It's a universal language with the ability to express what can't be expressed through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter our states of consciousness and let us experience reality in a different way. It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
