After a life-altering accident that caused partial vocal cord paralysis and ended his ability to play piano, Kareem reinvented his creative process with digital composition and visual art—turning personal trauma into transcendent expression. His music now explores loss, longing, and rebirth through long-form storytelling and orchestral depth. Though Project KT remains firmly his own vision—overseeing lyricism, production, and artwork—he is actively seeking a female vocalist collaborator to give voice to the remaining untold emotional core.

BIO:

Brian Kadmiri (aka Medicine Music) is the founder of the legendary Remedy SF and a deeply influential force in the San Francisco electronic music scene — producing transformational events for over two decades and DJing for more than 15 years.

His journey began in the late 1980s, during the rise of rave culture. For Brian, the pulsing rhythms of electronic music weren’t just sounds — they were a soul awakening. The foundational values of the movement — Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect — struck a profound chord in his heart and spirit. From that moment on, he devoted his life to music, community, and co-creating spaces that uplift consciousness.

Through the '90s and beyond, Brian produced countless events, bringing some of the world’s most sought-after and respected artists to the stage. Over time, the call to step behind the decks and create music of his own became undeniable — and so, Medicine Music was born.

Following a successful chapter in the nightlife world and a series of life-changing spiritual awakenings, Brian felt a higher calling. Guided by deep inner shifts, he answered the call to relocate to the mystical Mount Shasta — known as the root chakra of the planet — where he began exploring the healing power of music and dance in new ways. This shift led him into the heart of Conscious Music Festivals, Ecstatic Dance, and spiritually-driven sound experiences.

Since then, Brian has founded OM Garden, a beloved monthly sacred dance event, where he serves as resident DJ and curator. He continues to travel across the United States, sharing his signature sound alongside visionary artists, musicians, and producers from around the globe.

“If I had to describe my sound, it moves through the mystical and ambient, into galactic, etheric, and psychedelic spaces. It flows from deep, organic, progressive tribal house to MesoAmerican medicine music, global temple bass, Middle Eastern, East Indian, African, Latin electronica, hip hop, trap, and dubstep. There are so many sacred frequencies I resonate with — I’ve never felt the need to limit myself. I see all of it as healing music.”
