In the last decade Berlin became a magnetic force of culture. With an enormous appeal to artists from all areas of expertise including music, design, architecture, theatre, dance and everything that helps the evolution of imagination and creativity. This is why it should come to no surprise that it is the birth place of both Iono Music and its founder - Matthias Sperlich.

Like many other labels, Iono Music was born in order to give its founder, Cubixx aka Matthias Sperlich, the freedom he needed to release his first creation as Koaxkaos – "Evolutyon". After he met Murus in 2003 at a Psytrance festival, they started working together for several years, and so Iono Music was established in 2005. Unlike many other labels, which are affected by fashion, hype and commercial factors, Iono Music has been motivated by the radiation that the music transmits and the way the body reacts to it. If the music changes the molecules and atoms into ion then it means it has been ionized*. The Ionization process can only be fully successful if your music is high quality Electronic music. Iono Music's main emphasis is on Progressive Psytrance and yet any Electronic style is accepted as long as it stands out of the others – after all it has to reach the top atmosphere to be an Iono…

Matthias Sperlich was born in 1977 in Berlin, Germany. He has over 15 years of experience behind the decks and has a long time love affair with electronic music. He works as a professional VFX artist for cinema and TV, which allows him to pursue his passion and vision of extraordinary music, while being guided by his perfectionist's standards. Since the beginning Cubixx knew that Iono Music could succeed only if he chooses each artist with extra care, examining every aspect to see if they belong in the Iono family. Thus all the artists and dj's you see in our website were picked one by one, after proving to be not only excellent artists but also great people.

Iono Music never stops to evolve, always being one step ahead with technology and new initiatives it had grown to be an exciting international label. Always on the move, Iono Music promises to give you the top notch music this atmosphere can offer.

Inspired by his talented Mother’s piano playing, Shahar too was playing this classic instrument at the tender age of six.  In 1990 he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel with his family. A few years later in 1996 some friends introduced him to Trance music, and it wasn’t long until Shahar was using the program  ‘Impulse Tracker’ to produce his own music under his first act name ‘Impulser’.

Wanting to further improve his skills, Shahar later studied sound engineering, whilst simultaneously gaining lots of hands on experience working for Oz Studios; recording Rock & Metal music via a combination of analog and digital equipment. 

By 2011 his act ‘Static Movement’ was born. It was through beautiful melodies, captivating story telling, and high sound quality production skills that Static Movement became hugely successful. Shahar was able to express his intense deep feelings into the music and create his magical signature sound; that resonated with so many. The release of 6 albums (‘Circle of ‘Life, ‘Sol’, ‘Sian’, ‘Simin’, ‘Voices from Heaven’ and ‘Underwater’), more than 100 tracks on major labels including: Iono Music, Iboga Records, Spintwist Records, Blue Tunes Records and his own label Sol Records, collaboration singles with legends of the scene like Ranji, Sesto Sesto, Cosmic Tone and Gaudium; as well as remixing for high calibre artists; Morten Granau, Liquid Soul, Protonica  and Vini Vici; has solidified Static Movement as a stable headlining act in the scene; playing gigs all over the world.

In 2019 he embarked on a new and independent path to build artists and release music for them as well as his own music - and for this reason his label Sol Records was created. The first release on the label was with the album Simin, named after Shahar’s wife.  This epic label releases music showcasing the entire spectrum of psy-trance and techno; from 125-150bpm, and has released close to 400 tracks to date; and proved to be an amazing platform promoting artists from across the Globe. 

In 2020 Shahar also opened an artist agency called Beta Music. Building on the trust created with numerous artists and event producers over the years around the world - Shahar has successfully created a large network of booking agencies, label managers, event producers, artists and DJs who cooperate with each other in harmony and friendship  - with music being the catalyst that unites them all.

And in 2023 Shahar and his wife began a production called Children of the Sun. The  name came from the idea that Shahar’s music illuminates and also the fact that all of Shahar’s family have names that begin with the letter S in English. His wife Simin, eldest daughter Sol, son Sian, and youngest daughter Sun. Shahar has made an album for each of them, and really feels that ‘we are all children of the Sun’.  They have done over 10 events in Israel, and hosted the best leading artists in the world such as Ranji, Whitenoize, Berg, Reality Test, Z-cat, along with other artists from the label and agency. The production was established out of the need and desire to give a stage to budding artists; to help promote them and their music and give them a rare and real opportunity to showcase their talent! 

The fact that along with nurturing his own career, Shahar has created these additional platforms to help others - is a testament to the unwavering passion, pure dedication and raw love that Shahar aka Static Movement has for music!

SOME1 is an innovative project by Anton Maiko, renowned for his work under the alias Mindwave. With this new endeavor, Anton embarks on an exciting musical journey, pushing boundaries and crafting a distinctively fresh sound. SOME1 seamlessly blends deep, groovy, and robust bass lines with Anton's signature atmospheric elements, creating a captivating narrative within each track. This cutting-edge approach positions SOME1 at the forefront of the Psychedelic Trance scene. In 2019, SOME1 made a remarkable debut with the release of the "Dragonfly EP" on Iono Music, which garnered global attention and acclaim. Following several well-received releases, SOME1's first full-length album, "Delicate Vibration," was unveiled by Iono Music in 2020. The album's impact was substantial, solidifying SOME1 as one of the most compelling and promising acts in the Psytrance community. 2023 marked another milestone for SOME1 with the release of the sophomore album, "Voyager," once again on Iono Music. Additionally, notable EPs such as "Darkness," released on Astrix's label Shamanic Tales, further showcased Anton's artistic prowess. SOME1's captivating performances have graced the stages of prestigious festivals worldwide, including OZORA Festival, Fusion Festival, and New Healing Festival, among others. Currently, Anton is diligently working on his highly anticipated third album, poised to captivate audiences and continue spreading his transformative music across the globe. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and a talent for crafting immersive sonic experiences, SOME1 is undeniably an artist to watch in the world of Psychedelic Trance.

Denise alias «wayofdk» ist in der Progressive- und Psytrance-Szene in der DACH-Region nicht nur mit ihrem Podcast «Trance Talk» bekannt, sondern mit ihrem DJane-Projekt auch für treibenden Progressive Trance und energetischen Prog-Sound. Was einst als persönlicher Psytrance-Blog begann, entwickelte sich zu ihrem erfolgreichen Podcast, der weit über die Grenzen des Clubs hinaus eine Plattform für die Szene bietet.

2022 erweiterte Denise ihr Schaffen mit ihrem DJ-Projekt, mit dem sie ihre musikalische Botschaft und Energie direkt auf die Tanzflächen bringt. Am 2. Mai 2025 feierte sie mit ihrem Debüt-Release «Spiritual Awakening» einen bedeutenden Meilenstein und setzt damit ein neues kreatives Kapitel in ihrer musikalischen Reise.

Innerhalb weniger Jahre hat Denise den Sprung auf die Bühnen renommierter Festivals und internationaler Clubs geschafft, darunter unter anderem das legendäre Bootshaus in Köln, der Club Schlaflos in der Schweiz, der Proton Club in Stuttgart oder das Edelfettwerk in Hamburg.

«Du kannst in anderen nur entzünden, was selber in dir brennt» – dieses Motto ist mehr als ein Leitsatz; es ist der Kern von Denise‘ künstlerischem Ausdruck. Ihre Sets versieht sie mit einer individuellen Handschrift, die nicht nur das Publikum mitreißt, sondern auch ihre Liebe zur Musik spürbar macht.
