Instead of sampling Sarah Vaughan with the original track, I sampled one of Charlie Parker's records, tried to make a bit more funky and uplifting!

Hailing from Sydney, Jerk Boy has amassed a credible catalogue of modern Disco music, the contents of which can be huddled together under the umbrella of 'music for good times'. He knows exactly how to move floors and his next single featuring Irfane is case on point.

Best known for his collaborative work with Ed Banger mainstay Breakbot who he toured with extensively - Irfane has also worked with Hudson Mowhake and remains a deeply versatile vocalist. Together the duo lay out 'Something Isn't Right'; a classy cut with an easy, free-flowing energy.

A trim and shifty bass line pops and flexes under a finger snapping snare and sixteenth-note shuffles. Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.

Donny is one of the funkiest dudes to bless the decks! Brooklyn implant by way of Baltimore, a NYC favorited underground party spot, 'Space is the Place’ BKNY curator, Donny became a national staple throughout the 90’s & early 2000’s, and has been playing parties up and down the east coast & nationally for decades.
     Donny has been affiliated with B’more’s first techno/electronic record label, Defective Records (www.defectiverecords.com) since ’94, along with being co-founder/resident DJ of DeepSugar Parties (www.sugarparty.org) with Ultra Nate' at the legendary Club Paradox (www.thedox.com) in Baltimore, MD.
     Donny has always had his ear to the underground and has been influential in keeping the underground vibes alive in Brooklyn.  His musical range runs very deep and is a sure crowd pleaser.
