"Me Against The World" es la tercera canción del álbum de 2Pac con el mismo nombre, lanzado en 1995. La producción del álbum comenzó poco después de que 2Pac estuvo al borde de la muerte tras recibir cinco disparos por dos ladrones en la entrada del famoso estudio de grabación Quad Studios de Nueva York, y se estrenó cuando cumplió una condena en el Centro Correccional de Clinton (una cárcel neoyorquina). Hasta el día de hoy, Tupac Shakur es el único artista en la historia de la música en alcanzar el n° 1 del ranking Billboard 200 mientras cumplía una sentencia en prisión. La canción fue producida por el dúo danés Soulshock and Karlin y contiene la colaboración de Yaki Kadafi y E.D.I. Mean, quienes eran miembros de Outlawz, la ganga de Tupac. Las voces de fondo fueron interpretadas por Puff Johnson. Además, la canción contiene samples de "Inside My Love" de Minnie Riperton, y de "Walk On By" de Isaac Hayes. Esta canción fue lanzada como single solo en Europa.

The Last Starfighter is one of the most fun, mostly forgotten unsung heroes from the stacked roster of summer movies in 1984.  A kid who dreams of escaping his dead-end life in a trailer park gets the high score on a video game, which ends up being a recruitment test for a fight against tyranny in a galaxy far, far away.  Derivative?  Yes.  Dated effects?  Sure.  But fun?  Most definitely!  With (at the time) burgeoning state-of-the-art CGI, plus a breezy runtime and relatable characters, The Last Starfighter still wasn’t a huge hit - which is a shame.  But it found new life on cable TV and at the video store well into the early 90s, until it just kinda disappeared into cult-filmdom.  And now that it has turned 40, it is the perfect time to revisit one of our favorites and see if it still holds up.

Alain Mazijn (Oostende 1960) is mede aanstichter van radio stad in Antwerpen in 1981.
40 jaar maakt hij geen radio meer.
Als jonge cabaretier is hij samen met Hans de Booij het muziektheaterduo CIRCUS STUPIDO.
Als horecaman start hij in Antwerpen tussen 1980 en 1991 de stadskroeg, het swingcafé en grand café salto mortale.
Als festivalpromotor van het Nederlandstalige lied organiseert hij tussen 1988 en 2007 het festival pop Vlaanderen op 10 en 11 juli op de groenplaats in Antwerpen.
Vanaf 2007 maakt hij muziek en teksttheaterproducties voor het productiehuis BLAUW VZW, muziektheater.be
In het coronajaar 21 start hij radio prostaat op:
de Vlaamse wereldradio voor de rijpere luisteraar.
