Bass Generator Records label and shop have been an institution since the scene’s beginning.

The first release on the label was back in 1990, then in 1993 with the huge selling release “The Event” plus help from Scott Brown’s early releases (Lord of Hardcore/Genetik), Bass Generator Records was quickly established as a major influence throughout the rave scene, especially in Scotland.

The label went on to release over 47 singles, distributed internationally, up to 1997.

Bass Generator opened a store in Newcastle in 1993, then in Edinburgh in 1995, both of which no longer exist.

Bass Generator Records went on to running one of the world’s biggest used vinyl record stores on Ebay in the mid 00′s.

Now based in central Scotland with a new team behind the scenes.
Bass Generator Records now has three sister labels:-

* DE:FUZED DIGITAL – coming soon 2014

We also have been running the best online radio station 24/7 in the UK for the last 3 years, which has helped launch the career’s of some of the UK’s best up and coming artists as well as helped to spawn new events and record labels.

Whilst the Bass Generator Records shops may have gone we now have an online store and our Rave/Festival Essentials stall which attends most events and is up and down the whole of the UK every week.
We also have a massive stock of all our own clothing which no other label does and can be sent out next day for quick turnaround.

One of the main differences between the past and the current Bass Generator Records is the many other styles and genres that is now covered between all 4 labels, bringing the label right up to date with what is current in the scene. Our artists and producers come from all over the world as well as the UK and Ireland.

The current team work tirelessly to make sure that everything is in order and running as smooth as can be. And can also be found on nights out in and around the merchandise stall having fun.

Ed E.T. is a powerful name in underground dance music, known for his high-energy performances and innovative sound. He first made waves in the Hardstyle scene, where he became famous for his high octane Reverse Bass style and electrifying sets. His performances have rocked stages around the world, including the main stage at Hardclassics in Holland and multiple tours across Japan and Spain. With over 20 No. 1 hits on major Hardstyle labels & over 3 million combined streams, Ed E.T. has firmly established his reputation.

In early 2023, Ed E.T. shifted gears and entered the realm of Hard Techno showcasing his versatility as an artist. His new music quickly gained attention and praise, with tracks released on top labels like Verknipt Records, Revised Records, Strobö, Rave Alert, Go Hard or Go Hardcore, Barong Family, Sonaxx Records, Infamia Records and others. In the studio, he has collaborated with leading names in the scene, including Rebekah, with more high profile collaborations on the way. His work has been supported by a-list artists such as DJ Snake, I Hate Models, Sara Landry, Nico Moreno, Fatima Hajji, Shlømo, Rebekah, Charlie Sparks, Alignment, Basswell, Stan Christ, Luca Agnelli, BLK, Pawlowski, AZYR, Lessss, DIØN, Dax J, OMAKS, Luciid, Lee Ann Roberts and more. Many of his released and forthcoming tracks are constantly destroying dance floors worldwide at major festivals & events.  

He has appeared on lineups alongside leading artists like Fatima Hajji, BASSWELL, DYEN, PAWLOWSKI, Luca Agnelli, BLK, Per Pleks, Caravel, Køsløv, Denis Dekay and many more and teared up dancefloors internationally at iconic venues such as Fabrik in Madrid among others.
