A return to New York after quality time spent with the family. These trips are a great mental break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Time seems to slow, ever so slightly as evenings spent behind the grill, watching the sun set through tendrils of smoke and the murmur of dinner time conversations truly make for some of my favorite moments.

My opening set for earth angel james K in Vancouver on October 16, 2025. It was an honour to open for james K, especially for a sold out show. I reflected a lot about jame K’s music and her NTS Trip Lick show (highly recommend listening to). The warm afterglow of a weekend of music. Smoke filled rooms and comforting tones, all shades of ambient and beyond. This is what I played for my set on Sunday, the final day at our annual barn gathering. Everyone melted into couches, flitting in and out of consciousness. As light turned to darkness ever so gently, we all took turns providing a sonic window into what the day of rest and recovery means.
