Three seconds after

The inspiration for the poem on which this song is based was a mixture of Pink Floyd's The Wall and a song by Billy Joel (https://paulglover.uk). I think the idea goes well with anthemic broadway and brass treatment.

Cast off that mask

A fun and toe-tapping, classic jazz combo / jazz swing track, available both as a vocal version and an instrumental version. The lyrics are a slightly humorous story about a group of friends that hang out at a place that they don't even like, and the proprietor, Jack, is nowhere to be seen. Vocals performed by Chris Weeks. My name is Paul Glover. At night I write poetry and prose, and paint (mainly in watercolours) and have recently started printing and bookbinding.
