Troisième volet de la série Boom Bap Session, BBS 003 continue de creuser dans les fondations solides du hip-hop : le boom bap, cette rythmique sèche, carrée, qui fait hocher la tête, toujours accompagnée de samples soul ou jazzy et de rimes aiguisées comme des lames.

Dans ce mix, je t’embarque pour un voyage transatlantique, entre les classiques cultes des années 90 et les héritiers d’aujourd’hui qui gardent le flambeau allumé. On y croise NTM et leur Come Again version 1996, une collaboration fantasmée entre 2Pac & Biggie sur un remix brut, l’élégance de Bahamadia, et l’énergie brute de Das EFX, Keith Murray ou encore RZA, Cappadona & Method Man sur l'iconique Wu Wear.
