C'est un poème mis en musique. Dans ce poème que j'ai écrit il y a quelques années dans une période de crise, je demande à Jérusalem, au nom de l'amour immense que j'ai toujours ressenti à son égard de prier pour moi. Récemment voulant rajouter le mot énigmatique « selah » qui apparait de temps à autres dans le livre des psaumes, j'en suis venu à rajouter encore quelques vers. Ceux-ci demandent à Jérusalem de prier non plus pour moi mais pour tout le peuple d'Israël. Or au même moment, le retour de kidnappés du 7 Octobre a été décidé de façon soudaine et s'est réalisé. Toute cette œuvre prend du coup pour moi une dimension toute particulière.
