if i fell has always been of of my favorite tracks ever, so i dont think my arrangement could be even remotely better.. however, it does create a more tragic and melodramatic feel, which i like

for my taste in big sounds, i orchestrated the whole thing and add some transitioning chords with heavy modulations and modal interchanges at the end

i cannot sing very well so i had the melody played by a rhodes thingy

Produced, Mixed, Mastered by me too using Cakewalk with only REDD.17 and Fairchild 660 inspired VST Plugins (CodeRED, Varimoon). Also using OrilRiver for Reverb, a bit saturation from HF Filter (Default Cakewalk). Using aaaallllll the budget stuffs. Cheap microphone, cheap USB Soundcard, bad sounding acoustic drum. Recorded in library on saturday since I work as a School Librarian through the weekdays.

Tim Paul is a solo piano performer today but was a member of several bands in the 70s and 80s including "The Four of Us" and "Crossroads". Tim also performed as a Ballpark Organist for the Quad City Cubs and the Clinton Dodgers for several years. He is also checked off a bucket list item playing the Wrigley Field Organ post game in August of 2022 first of Chicago Cubs Organist John Benedeck. Now he is one of the Owners at PIano Trends Music Company with his wife Bobbi Paul and he serves as  Board President at Raue Center for the Arts. Tim hosts a daily Livestream on Facebook called Lifting Spirits through Music performing on his Baldwin Blue Grand piano live on Lifting Spirits, many times with special musical guests and guest hosts when Tim is off. check out the group page

Working on a new album set for release with The Swamp Records in December 2025.

The album has no title yet, but it already has 7 tracks recorded for cosideration, and album artwork in 2 versions.

I’ve been listening to Mouse on Mars, Tortoise, and Flying Saucer Attack a lot over the last month or so.

They certainly proved to be very inspiring for the new A.J. Kaufmann album.

A.J. Kaufmann is a Polish genre-bender. Weaving folk, noise, and psychedelic rock, he creates a "Strange World" of sound. From heavy riffs to spaced-out soundscapes, his music (albums like "Stoned Gypsy Wanderer") and poetry explore the fringes.
