SURPRISE!!!

That's right, ya boy has been working on a top secret 🤫 project between just me and THE LORD ☝🏾.

LIFE: What is Life? Well, life come comes from God, as a matter of fact the Bible says in John 14:6 that Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life..." Basically, Jesus is the only WAY to heaven, is the TRUTH that were all looking for, and being in a relationship with himself leads to LIFE both here on earth, but more importantly in heaven. 

But life is also THIS experience that we have as conscious living beings. Life can be hard, but it can be beautiful. Life can be a blessing, but it can also be a curse. But that's the thing about LIFE, it just is.

So I made this project going through a season much like what I believe King David went through in the Bible. The Psalms are known for David pouring his heart out to God in both his anguish, sadness, and depression as well as his joy, happiness, and worship. I wanted to make a project that reflected everything that I went through in the last couple of years. I experienced a deep depression and experienced mental health issues, finally got clinically diagnosed with OCD, which is typically diagnosed with clinical depression , depression which I also happen to suffer with at times. I got on antidepressants and gained hella weight, and I also went through a lot of personal failures.

But I also got closer to God. I've found joy in the midst of some of my hardest times and hope in Jesus when everything around me is crumbling or uncertain. God has carried me through so many things, blessed me in so many ways (I can't even count, but if you ask, I'll testify), and most importantly, allowed me to know himself so that I could have the best friend that I will always have until I see him in heaven for myself. He's forgiven me in many things (and continues to), he's changed me in different ways, and I've learned a lot about gratitude.

This project is a reflection of all of this. And NO: your boy is still not PERFECT and never will be. But I have become a GROWN MAN in my own right in this life, I've discovered my voice and I'm learning when to use it and when not to. But music is something God blessed me to have gifts for and cling to in times when I needed it most AND so I give this project to you: LIFE. ENJOY!
