Kā travelled a long way by plane, bus, and car with her 25 kg meteorite gong to be with us this summer at Hybrida Fest. For this new rendering of her live set, we prepared the Liveroom with candles, scents, comfy seating, and spotlights aimed at the centred gong. As Storm guided us through her meditative journey and the gong spun, the light swept through the room and gently illuminated the faces and bodies of a contemplative crowd. As you listen to this recording, put on your best headphones, turn down the lights, close your eyes, and get a taste of the soothing sound bath we all had the chance to relish together this summer in Älvsbacka. Enjoy!

It craves sustenance, remembrance, and a vessel to inhabit, for without form, it fades. It is not just life—but the energy that makes life meaningful, the presence that lingers when the body is gone.

Hybrida Fest is a collective exploration of art & music deep in the Swedish countryside that came to life in 2021. It combines a festival program featuring live performances, workshops, a full dance floor experience, and a visual art exhibition produced during our on-site art residency.
