As a creator, I strive to create a sonic landscape that transcends traditional boundaries and takes the listener on a profound exploration of emotions and thoughts. Each composition is carefully crafted to evoke a sense of wonder, introspection, and connection.

The ethereal drones serve as a foundation, enveloping the listener in a captivating atmosphere. These sustained tones have a mesmerizing quality, creating a sense of timelessness and allowing the mind to wander freely.

Amidst the drones, delicate melodies emerge like whispers in the wind. These melodies possess a graceful quality, captivating the listener's attention and guiding their imagination. They dance and intertwine with the ethereal backdrop, creating a harmonious interplay that is both soothing and captivating.

Throughout the musical journey, there is a gradual intensification, a gentle build-up of energy and emotion. This progression adds depth and anticipation, keeping the listener engaged and eager to discover what lies ahead. It's a subtle transformation that mirrors the ebb and flow of life's experiences, drawing the listener deeper into the sonic tapestry.

As the composition reaches its climax, there is a moment of release and surrender. It is here that the music submerges the listener into a tranquil and serene state, akin to diving into the depths of a calm ocean. This submersion represents a metaphorical letting go, a shedding of burdens and a surrender to the present moment. Keith stood in the vocal booth, his mood a bit heavy as he prepared to record. 

Not only did he lay down the drums for this track, but he also shared his thoughts on life. This moment signified the close of Keith’s creative exploration, presented as a vocal trilogy.

His words had a way of tangling themselves around you, requiring careful attention to fully grasp their meaning. It was like a tangled wire, this was Keith Alban’s unique perspective on life, an engaging journey woven through spoken word and narrative.

And the wire….

is really… the process of life itself. Here you are tracking down your road of life, you're doing your thing, you're making your choices… 

and along comes this wire. And you look at it and say: Dude……

there is no way I'm going to make it through this   

And before you know you know it you're tangled up in the wire, you're kind of caught up in the smoke and the charcoal….

combat is everywhere, 

it's chaos….it's……bad days


…it's everything that just kind of BLOWS YOU AWAY. 

thinking to yourself Dude…there is no way I'm going to make it through this.


 And then all of a sudden….the smoke just kind of settles, and you look back and you say: holy crap….


I can't believe I made it through that, and as you focus back on the way you're going… in life, 

you see that's another wire, and that's just kind of the process of life itself, Is to get tripped up in these wires. each wire you get tangled up in, Sometimes it's a cable, 

sometimes it's a thin wire…

sometimes it's….

a series of wires and that's just the way life is, to get through these wires.

The Wire (Spoken Text, In The Description)

When Sven and I stepped into the Verrückt Hoch Zwei recording studio, the place buzzed with creative vibes. Sven was in the control room, fine-tuning the sound levels with great care, while I was lost in my world on the drum kit, crafting rhythms that filled the space with energy.

Every time we were about to add a new layer, Sven would excitedly share his thoughts, his enthusiasm palpable. Once everything was set, we hit the record button, capturing the raw, real-time magic of our collaboration.

As I played my beats, Sven skillfully operated the recording gear, making sure each sound was perfectly captured. The studio came alive with our creativity.

After each session, we assigned different recorded elements to specific pads, turning them into catchy loops that added new dimensions to our track. I remember placing the bass line on the outer edge of the floor tom, breathing new life into our arrangement with a pre-recorded sample.

Time slipped away as we meticulously honed each layer and loop. It was a labor of love; despite the hurdles we faced, we were determined to create something special.

In the end, though our recordings didn’t find their way to an audience, I couldn’t let our work fade into the background. Instead, I chose to release it to the world, allowing it to resonate with listeners everywhere.

Looking back at our time in the studio, I treasure the effort and artistry we poured into our project. It was a memorable experience that deeply impacted us both, and I’m excited to share our music widely.

Behind the track, I played the beat "Rise," while Sven saved it as Storm Drum: Rise. This title reflects our creative journey, serving as a reminder that our music can touch hearts and leave a lasting mark on anyone who hears it.
