Hi Friends, be more than welcome to another episode of phOda PODCAST, i am Lui Danzi and feel free to join me for this brand new Session filled with Underground Sounds and Rhythms.

This is the SECOND SET Selected to be part of a 3 mix collection celebrating 2022's return of the Miami Music Week "MMW".

For this Episode i've invited 2 very good friends of mine, Keith and Jenny aka DISKOPRETTY. 

BIO:
DISKOPRETTY
DISKOPRETTY is a DJ duo based out of Fort Lauderdale composed of Jenny Disko (aka JDisko) and Keith Christopher. Formed in 2015, the pair met by chance on the Miami sailing of the Groove Cruise. Jenny was on her 7th sailing with GC, and Keith was performing for his first time on board, fresh off his victory for that year's DJ contest. Aboard the Norwegian Pearl that year, Jenny and Keith instantly formed a connection in the infamous "Haven Suite", which led to an epic eight hour B2B set in an intimate setting, with only a few hundred people in the room to witness the moment. The friends and "GCFAM" in attendance affectionately named the duo DISKOPRETTY by combining the "Disko" from Jenny's DJ moniker, and the "Pretty" from Keith's brand of club gear  #MANPRETTY. Riding the success they found in the suite, the couple stayed in touch, and remained together in a long distance relationship for three years, until Jenny relocated to Fort Lauderdale. 



Since coming together, DISKOPRETTY has toured and performed all over the U.S., as well as Antigua, The Bahamas, and Mexico. In 2019, as they were celebrating four years together, Jenny and Keith returned to perform on the main stage of Groove Cruise, a massive show that concluded with the duo's engagement. But 2020 brought new challenges, and as they were faced with venue closures and no live events during the global pandemic, Jenny and Keith  brought their talents to the world of Twitch, creating "DISKOPRETTY Afterhours",  a live mix show that hosted artists from all over the country, and ran every Saturday for nine consecutive months into the new year. They're now working to take that concept and cross it over into live events. The return of Groove Cruise in 2022 provided Jenny and Keith with the opportunity to host "DISKOPRETTY & Friends", their own branded stage that featured a diverse roster of artists from around the U.S.A.; Deepfake, Evan Mark, Rizzo + Vassalo, Yokai, and surprise special guest Claude VonStroke. Each artist reflected their own unique brand of the high energy vibe that the duo enjoys projecting to their "Disko Fam". The fun, positive feeling at their sets and events is unparalleled, with each attendee departing with a smile on their face, whether it's been one hour or ten.  With a vast amount of combined experience, and various successes in the industry, Jenny and Keith each have their own unique and distinctive styles as DJs. However, when they come together as DISKOPRETTY, those styles find an incomparable balance that becomes evident in not only the amount of fun they have, but also in the amount of fun their audiences have. They certainly are a one of kind act, and the future is bright for DISKOPRETTY!!

Born in the coastal city of Recife, Brazil, and having spent years living in Spain, England, Portugal and the United States; Luiz Arthur Danzi "Lui” Danzi" is no stranger to the international House music scene.

As a music lover all his life and after years of listening to music, collecting records, and attending events; a career as a disc jockey, and more recently a producer, has now blossomed for this passionate selector.

Lui currently resides in the city of Fort Lauderdale (South Florida) and has DJed and host different venues and events, ranging from hotel rooftops, to pool parties, to some of the hottest clubs in the Miami area.

Years of experience behind the decks have honed Lui’s skills, and perhaps more importantly, nurtured his already innate ability to ‘feel’ his audience, and wow them at just the right moment with only the finest House, Tech-House, and Techno music. One thing’s for sure- no matter what event, or what style Lui’s playing, there will be a heavy emphasis on groove; Phat basslines, swinging hi-hats, and an amazingly palpable energy enveloping his party-goers.
