Emerging from the life-filled streets of Sao Paulo, ICONYC presents rising DJ and producer Keith Holland and his sensual take on the house-ier side of dance music with "Idealismo". Featuring two stellar cuts, Holland's latest delivery goes back to reconfigure our past for the current demands of today's electric club scene, showcasing just why the likes of Innervisions, Sum Over Histories, and more have enlisted the talents of the Brazilian artist.

Coming through in lush waves, Keith Holland's "Idealismo" struts to its own groove as velvet-laced house stabs rise across some heavy-handed drum programming before colliding against a bubbly bassline. Adding depth, dubbed-out stabs take hold of the piece, leading us down to a first break, where Holland's creativity is left to rummage unchecked, unleashing a meandering synth out from the left field, infusing "Idealismo" with a most welcomed dash of wonder and tension. As we arrive at its centerpiece, Holland allows the track to deflate completely as anticipation takes over before bringing it all back in for a gripping finale.

BIOGRAPHY:

Sao Paulo, Brazil, native Keith Holland spent his formative years as an apprentice, with the overarching goal of figuring out how to build the best possible sonorities for dance floors.

Vibrant synthesizers and a deep, resonant bass are Keith's primary compositional instruments, and they work together to create an abundance of musical possibilities.

Keith's most recent single, "Dilema," was heavily supported by Dixon and Âme, leading to the track's presence on the Innervisions, Secret Weapons 14 compilation.

The time and energy he put into composing new ideas ultimately landed him contracts with the record labels Buttress Records (Enzo Elia, Lehar, and Musumeci) and Sum Over Histories. (Frankey & Sandrino)

With this newfound confidence, he's ready to move forward with his life's work in the thrilling world of music.
