Having been educated at Spring Arbor University, Eastern Michigan University, and getting a PhD at Michigan State, over the years Jason has served as Assistant Principal and Principal across several school districts in Michigan. More recently he served in Michigan and Indiana with The College Board, and for the past year came on board with Khan Academy.

In their three segment discussion Jason and Tony talk about the state of education and learning in America and Michigan in particular, especially since the beginning of the pandemic. They discuss the learning opportunities through Khan Academy, how many students seem to have fallen behind because of COVID-19. Also thoughts on public, private, charter, and home schooling options for learning. They review teacher union's reaction to options outside of traditional public settings, along with society's reaction to the services of Khan Academy.
