Nous recevons Walter, membre de l’équipe organisatrice du tout nouveau festival Beau Weekend, qui se tiendra les 27 et 28 juin à Paloma, à Nîmes.
Si vous avez connu le mythique This Is Not A Love Song, alias TINALS, ce nom vous évoquera forcément quelque chose. Beau Weekend n’est pas tout à fait TINALS, mais il en reprend l’esprit : celui du défrichage musical, de la convivialité, et d’une programmation indépendante qui fait la part belle au rock, punk, noise, synth-pop et autres sonorités audacieuses.
Porté par Paloma et l’association Come On People, ce nouveau rendez-vous s’annonce comme une parenthèse musicale à taille humaine, où l’on se retrouve entre passionné·es pour découvrir ce que la scène actuelle a de plus vibrant à offrir. Un festival où l’on prend le temps d’écouter, de flâner, de se laisser surprendre… un peu comme si 2014 n’était jamais vraiment parti.

Despite how intimidating they first seemed upon arrival, these two can actually be rather nice if you avoid getting on their bad sides… which makes the fact that people HAVE all the more shocking. I'm glad common ground was found between Shinobu and the subject of her attraction, but if this "Scott Pilgrim" fellow hasn't already changed for the better... I expect to see him meeting with my brother soon enough.
