Distorted Elements, A compilation of recently released tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Here we have it, my latest home session, this time A more punchy, driven, an almost primetime style of techno. 
A 150minutes set filled with tons of repetitive rhythmics and over all A very 'BIG' sound, just the way that that real techno should sound. 
Also on the mixing part still deepening out the possibilities on the A&H Xone DB4 which obviously still has some secrets hidden inside and fine tuning/organizing my Serato catalog to a more logic extend. Again A signature Default LabMix, please enjoy!

Default LabMix023 25 05 24 - Distorted Elements

Unforgiving Heights, A compilation of recently released tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Here we go again, I present U my latest home session. For this one we go all the way up!  This 3hours set is basically A 3 part ascent where every hour of the set has his own feel and style. Not for the lighthearted, this path only goes upwards right to the highest peak. A raw, repetitive, rhythmic, 808/909, acidic, and driven sound that doesn't compromise at any given moment. A truly genuine style of techno music, reminding me a lot of the Kozzmozz days back in the 90's, of course combined with the new current, contemporary sounds and mixing techniques.
Also on the mixing part still deepening out the possibilities on the A&H Xone DB4 which obviously still has some secrets hidden inside and fine tuning/organizing my Serato catalog to a more logic extend. Again A signature Default LabMix, buckle up your seatbelt & please enjoy!

Default LabMIx024 08 06 24 - Unforgiving Heights

LabMix025 recorded sat.08-06-24 @ Default-Lab home studio. 
A compilation of various tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Let's get wild... On this session I've cranked up the tempo to a sturdy 137 Bpm. How to describe this set to do it right? More uptempo, driven and repetitive, robust, sweaty techno perfectly suitable for the peak of the night till the break of dawn! 
A verry cool techno sound that will transport you to this 'Land of Nowhere'
I had a lot of fun on the mixing part of this set, hope you enjoy it just as much.

There's some serious business going on here, a blend of heavy, hypnotic, sweaty repetitive techno,  perfectly suitable for the peak of the night till the break of dawn! 
A continuously increasing vibin' sound that exceeds the point of no return, so be aware ...  'Meltdown Initiated'
Also luvin' my setup, on the mixing part still deepening out the possibilities on the A&H Xone DB4, new headphones seems to do it's part and I'm still fine tuning/organizing my Serato catalog to a more logic extend. All this contributes to the result of this mixing session recorded on a hot summer night in a boiling hot studio. Again A signature Default LabMix, please enjoy!

A compilation of various tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Full thrust ahead... A peaktime session, launching you on a digital highway in a landscape of electronic components, Light-Emitting Diodes and soldered pathways.
Experiencing scattering rhythmics, static soundwaves, high frequency sparks, glimmering particles and fully charged beats. So, energy level is on max, the gauges are set on lightspeed! Let’s go!
My advice: strap on, don’t look back and just keep going… next exit in 90 minutes!

| Biography |

Psytox (aka Norman Bates, MDNT:SON, Didier Beydts, Svemirski, PSTX) has been dj'ing since 1989. Rather than being pigeonholed into one style of music, he mixes very eclectic sets, including elements of acid, house, techno, deephouse, minimal, breakz, d'n'b,... . It has brought him to a wide variety of venues in different scenes.
Together with Edward Molton he also founded his own imprints Coincidence and Coincidental Records, who have been releasing Techno from artists like Jeroen Search, 6SISS, Esther Duijn, Ruffneck Prime, Rebekah, Marcel Fengler, Developer, Delta Funktionen, Charlotte de Witte, Conforce, Mary Velo, Tom Hades, Layr and many more. He also produces and releases on Rhythm Converted and Be As One. He also promotes his own nights at Kompass Klub, Café d'Anvers and Tomorrowland's infamous "Rave Cave". So hard working is definitely a suitable description.

He has been known to play extensive sets (up to 15 hours straight) at established events such as Tomorrowland, Kozzmozz, Thé Dansant, Wanted Berlin, Extrema Outdoor, Lost Theory Festival,… and venues such as Kompass Klub, Zodiak, Tresor, Cafe d'Anvers, Fuse, Chalet, Charlatan, Decadance and Silo to name just a few.
