Out 30 May on NEIN Records, Solastalgia marks the debut EP from Harbinger Kurt — a personal and evocative entry into the world of electronic music.

Produced over several years, Solastalgia reflects a deep-rooted musical journey, channeling both memory and imagination. The title track draws on one definition of “solastalgia” — a nostalgia for a time never lived — echoing the emotional undercurrents that run through the EP as a whole.

Shaped by years at the helm of London’s Moodroom collective, working in A&R and synchronization for a major independent publisher, and a DJ career spanning the UK, US, France, and Germany since 2010, Kurt brings a seasoned yet singular voice to his first release — one that blends memory, melody, and movement in equal measure.

This, alongside the recording of Dumb were older recordings from a few years ago. I went back to add some layering, and master them as best as garage band would allow.

I once worked for Prince. I also produced Australian band frente, Basehead, E, Tea and Sympathy and others. I've been writing all my life. I make other noises like talking and stuff sometimes too. My current band is called Fire Good. New album soon!

Testing out some things— demos, live recordings etc. Everything here is, to a fair extent, mastered and mixed terribly. 

‘Foxglove’ consists of one songwriter/guitarist/vocalist, and a bassist. Evidently, they don’t normally record stuff.
