Krachend öffnet sich die vierte Tür unseres Kalender und wer begrüsst uns mit einem herrlichen Breakcore-Potpourri? @L_U_I!

Unser ehemaliger Südstaatler Jan wohnt seit etwas über vier Jahren in Leipzig und hat vor kurzem den Weg zu exLEpäng gefunden. Vom Sound orientiert sich das Mitglied der allbekannten DPBSFFGAH.AHTU Crew wohl am lehrreichen Grundschul-ABC: Ambient, Bass und Core - allerdings ist seine Umsetzung von musikalischer Bildung für potentielle Gasthörer wesentlich fetter und tanzbarer. 1 mit Sternchen, setzen!

Hohohoo

Nach dem beschaulichen Trip mit seinem Uboot in neuletzlichen Türchen #9, hat sich unser verdienstvoller L.U.I. heute für ein dunkel brummendes Speedboot entschieden. 

Er dreht mit jenem welchen jedoch nicht komplett auf - etwas Luft am Gashebel muss ja für Gigs beim DEATHEMBERFEZT bleiben - trotzallem sei vergewissert: Die angemulmte, musikalische Landschaft rast bei seiner Reise ebenso hurtig  vorbei, wie es auch all die geschredderten und unbehaglich anmutenden  Fragmente machen. Jene bleiben zwar kurzweilig stehen, verweichen jedoch kühl knickernd in einem Meer von rhythmischen Mustern. 

Haltet euer Schokoeis fest und fallt nicht ins Wasser!

About DDNBC

Starting out as a Drum and Bass night series in Leipzig (Germany) with focus on mainly deep, dark, yet experimental aspects of the genre and DNB-related music such as Footwork, 160 BPM, Dark Jungle and so on, the Dark Drum&Bass Convention has become an DNB institution in the local scene with regular events, but also an independent platform for different DJs and Labels that share the same interest in this music and B2B DJ-culture.

DDNBC is all about the scene as a family and connecting. With the launch of a podcast series that does strictly feature DJs that have been playing at one of the past events already, this concept might become even more evident. As the family is growing, we are proud to already have featured artists such as ZeroZero, DLR, Hydro, War, Silent Witness, Ruffhouse, Survey, Unreal Project and LXC.
