Inicialmente, gostaríamos de sinalizar a potência simbólica da canção, cujos debates poderiam, tranquilamente, extrapolar os limites da condição humana, alcançando processos hermenêuticos dos mais diversos. Aqui, porém, nos restringimos à experiência abissal do próprio homem, do indivíduo cotidiano – aquele que pensa, reflete, analisa e, de alguma forma, apresenta-se à materialidade física e  filosófica da vida. 
O labirinto humano, neste sentido, passa a ser compreendido como uma metáfora da vida, com todas as nuances que isto implica, todos os sentimentos e emoções, altos e baixos, desafios e escolhas porque o sujeito humano passa ao longo de sua existência. A letra simboliza uma espécie de "navegação" por este labirinto: busca-se sentido e propósito para a vida, para a existência. Contudo, parece que estas equações são de complexa (ou impossível) resolução. 
De um lado estão os desafios e "emboscadas" enfrentados pelo sujeito, o que sem dúvida lhe conferem importantes aprendizagens; por outra parte, no entanto, nem sempre estes conflitos são recepcionados e tratados de forma tão diligente, já que a condição humana é também atravessada por uma constante jornada de autoconhecimento. 
Autoconhecimento que é uma das forças-motrizes desta interessante composição: o eu lírico parece "jogar" com este princípio quase que psicanalítico, na tentativa de compreender seu lugar de estrangeiro e desterritorializado diante da vida. Jogo este que, curiosamente, se traduz como a busca por um sentido e propósito maior diante da vida, sugerindo que o labirinto é um caminho em direção a uma compreensão mais profunda de quem somos e por que estamos aqui. Leia-se: caminho, e não ponto de chegada, já que a todo tempo a imprevisibilidade surge como uma marca predominante de nossas reflexões. 
Diante disso, o labirinto figura como um intrigante convite à reflexão sobre a alegria, tristeza, confusão, esperança e outras emoções que fazem parte dessa jornada. Inspiram-nos a pensar que a vida é solução, mas é também esta matéria impalpável e incapturável, muitas vezes sem sentido, sem definição, sem linhas de chegada, e que nem por isso deixa de ser uma travessia instigante e comovente.
