D.O.T.Y. Records proudly presents its very first release, the From Nowhere EP by downtempo veteran Landhouse. This debut marks the beginning of a label dedicated to forward-thinking, innovative electronic music. A key highlight of the release is the remix by Dad of the Year, the label founder, who adds a deeper and atmospheric reinterpretation to the track.

The remix flows with organic textures and a hypnotic bassline, transporting listeners to a reflective soundscape, ideal for late-night sets or moments of introspection. Additionally, K2W0 contributes a remix with a driving, percussive energy that gives the original a fresh rhythmic intensity.

With this first release, D.O.T.Y. Records makes a strong statement, positioning itself as a label to watch in the evolving downtempo scene.

D.O.T.Y. Records irrumpe en la escena electrónica con el lanzamiento de su primer trabajo, el EP From Nowhere de Landhouse, programado para el 21 de febrero de 2025. Este debut promete ser una experiencia envolvente de downtempo progresivo, reflejando la visión innovadora del sello.

Entre los cortes destacados se encuentra "Do on the Yeah (Original Mix)", una pieza que fusiona profundos grooves con delicadas texturas y paisajes sonoros detallados. Su atmósfera hipnótica la convierte en el acompañamiento perfecto para sets nocturnos o momentos de introspección musical.

El EP también incluye el track titular "From Nowhere", junto con remixes de K2W0 y el propio fundador del sello, Dad of the Year. Este lanzamiento es una declaración de principios de D.O.T.Y. D.O.T.Y. Records arranca su andadura con un primer lanzamiento que marca el tono de lo que está por venir: una apuesta decidida por el downtempo más evocador y sofisticado. Para ello, cuentan con Landhouse, un nombre que resuena con fuerza dentro de la escena gracias a su capacidad de crear paisajes sonoros hipnóticos y orgánicos.

"From Nowhere" se desliza con una elegancia etérea, entre capas de texturas cálidas y un groove pausado pero implacable. Es un track que atrapa sin estridencias, donde cada elemento respira en su propio espacio, creando una sensación de ingravidez que transporta al oyente a dimensiones desconocidas.

El EP se completa con remezclas de K2W0 y el propio capo del sello, Dad of the Year, quienes llevan la esencia de From Nowhere por derivas distintas, ampliando el espectro sonoro de este debut.

Psyrob is a project from near Cologne, one of the strongholds for electronic dance music.

Robin Bauer has been gaining experience in the Goa scene since 2012 and was enthusiastic about the spirit and love that is celebrated at events of this kind. While he focused exclusively on "Goa Trance" subgenres until 2018 and thus approached mixing, he opened himself up to all genres from that point on. 

To this day he practices an open style and does not commit himself to a specific genre of music. Rob wants to create musical journeys and messages that get to the center of the listener's heart.

In addition, at the end of 2019 he reached a spiritual turning point on his journey, which still has a major influence on his music today. 
Psyrob gratefully embraces the technological gifts of the Aquarian Age and is ambitious to let his creative energy flow fully into his music and to reach others with it.

Currently he is focusing on downtempo projects. Rob loves creating live mash-ups and combining different genres in a limitless way. His goal is to convey messages with each of his mixes and to interact directly with the conscious or subconscious of the listener.

Project MKOFTEN was a covert Department of Defense program developed in conjunction with the CIA. A partner program to MKSEARCH, the goal of MKOFTEN was to "test the behavioral and toxicological effects of certain drugs on animals and humans".

According to author Gordon Thomas' 2007 book, Secrets and Lies, the CIA's Operation Often was also initiated by the chief of the CIA's Technical Services Branch, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, to "explore the world of black magic" and "harness the forces of darkness and challenge the concept that the inner reaches of the mind are beyond reach". As part of Operation Often, Dr. Gottlieb and other CIA employees visited with and recruited fortune-tellers, palm-readers, clairvoyants, astrologists, mediums, psychics, specialists in demonology, witches and warlocks, Satanists, other occult practitioners, and more.
