Julien "Larry Quest" Berland is a young music maker, DJ and arts activist. He was born a french, lived in London for a while and recently settled in sunny Lisboa. He is a trained keyboardist and a
seasoned producer with works released on revered labels such as Delusions of Grandeur or Pleasure of Love - and of course Percebes Música, having had his debut on the label with "Faíscas", released in 2022 and still going strong in DJ playlists. Julien's sound is brimming with references to solid historic soundscapes, particularly the deepest end of the Chicago House music spectrum. Berland composes and produces music like someone who's learned lessons from the likes of such legends as Larry Heard, Boo Williams or Derrick Carter, but also underground heroes like Ricardo Miranda or Chris Gray. 

His EP "Austro" presents three tracks, pristinely created and mixed to weave a tightly knit texture of deep house that combines elements of jazz, gospel, funk and soul under a relentless electronic backdrop with clear references to rave culture and bleepy acid. While "Forest Jump" starts things off with a smooth beginning and takes off to dizzying heights, "Shoredance" bounces organ stabs with sharp snares and a thigh slapping beat and "303 Moonrise" evocates that classic, old school UR vibe to great effect. PERCEBES MÚSICA furthers the long discussion on the relationships between medium and message, truth and illusion, worth and validity.

“Conversor” is a various artist compilation that feels like a single artist album. The cover does not explicitly state individual authors (only track titles, lengths and BPM are provided), as if to dilute the importance of self and ego. DVRST Collective is back with another deep-rooted debut. This time features Guy From 1990, a DJ, producer, and key player inspired by the late 80s / early 90s house, acid and garage sounds. An iconic figure of the underground scene in Lisbon, who heavily contributed through the mythical ELA & House Mouse events, and also Oxigénio and SBSR FM radio shows.

"Deep In Marvila" brings both nostalgia and innovation. As the name suggests, Marvila area is where the parties took place, under the esteemed underground movement ELA (East Lisbon Afters) of which Miguel, aka Guy From 1990, is part.

All this sense of belonging and effusive feeling inspired Miguel to craft the classic house roots of "Feel It", the depth and groove of "Deep In Marvila", and the instant acid-connection of two days in the studio with Larry Quest on "Been Appart".

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.
