Ngene Mwaura will forever be known as a brilliant artist and beautiful human being. My new EP titled “Ngene” is a tribute to him. 

Some years back, Ngene and I met at Coachella's DoLab Stage and instantly became friends. His wild, creative passion alongside his sly sense of humor made him a super fun and inspiring companion. 

I have always described music as a non-plausible immediate moment—the threshold between entropic collisions of air pressure. Ngene’s artwork embodies this exact instance—its powerful collision of forces so unlikely that the only way to describe it is as a phenomenon. Like those hallowed audio moments when a musical note piques your ears, Ngene's art opens your eyes. 

Moses Mwaura, Ngene’s brother, has started a fund to help build a museum in Kenya that honors his brother’s work. Tierra Sounds, Michale Sandler and I are donating all sales from the EP to help build the museum.

As a Dj and a hobbyist. I enjoy Music too much... (Old-School) I prefer mixing songs that have enjoyed their 15 min. of fame. It gets redundant listening to the same Newer stuff over and over on the radio and of course how much of it's played. This is why I make My Own Mix-Tapes. My hope is to resurrect good old forgotten songs and bring back to life those ah! memories we once enjoyed and experienced. " GOOD Music Shouldn't Have an Expiration Date". I do also enjoy very much mixing today's new genres like House, Club, Dance Music with a twist...

 I carry a variety of genres from Spanish to English., From R&B Quiet Storm type of music to 80's, Freestyle and Energy House Style Mixes.  All Mixes Are done live, no rehearsing, or beat machines software included, which is what makes it fun...

I am very proud of my Soundcloud portfolio, Its not huge like maybe others, but because I have only used it for about 2yrs. and the following I have are genuine. I don't follow people so that they can follow me back, I don't buy followers or anything that may relate to it. What I see is, if people like a bunch of my mixes then they follow me.

I also have a pretty good following on Facebook under a group called ( Razzle Dazzle Sounds with Dj Boss ) where I share some of my mixes and jokes... I make it a point to always post a " ThrowBack Thursday Mix".
