Matthew 4:1 The Spirit led Jesus to the mountain to be tempted by the devil. Only the devil temps Gods people - not Him. Lead us not into temptation is a great prayer for the Disciples to pray. Nothing about Gods character but our brokenness needing Gods help.

Hebrews 9 and 10 teaches us the Lord ushered in the New Covenant because the old could never take away sins, give the worshipper a clean conscience. The NEW covenant gives us a clean conscience and we can boldly stand before God.
