Acts 21:15 Paul is testifying about all God has done with the Gentiles. Then the believing Jews convince him to shave heads, take vows, and act like they have some orderly walk. Not sure why Paul thought this would solve the problem, but it backfired and the believing Jews who were very zealous for the law came against Paul.

Matthew 4:1 The Spirit led Jesus to the mountain to be tempted by the devil. Lead us not into temptation is a great prayer for the Disciples to pray. 
Does the enemy keep taking you to the same place of provocation and you respond in the flesh?  Ask God to lead you not into temptation but deliver you from the evil one.
