Rebels Playground was born from late-night studio sessions where Tom and Dave poured raw energy and years of camaraderie into gritty riffs and relentless beats, capturing the rebellious heart of punk rock. This debut marks The DT's first solo dive into recording and mixing, learning each step as they went and letting their DIY spirit shape every note.

Meet The DT’s

We’re Tom & Dave—two dads who swapped bedtime stories for power chords. Most people unwind after the kids go to sleep. We head to the shed and pretend it’s 2003.

Fuelled by caffeine, dad jokes, and questionable life choices, we write loud, fast punk rock that’s probably annoying the neighbours (sorry, Cheryl).

No record deals. Just suburban chaos, backyard recordings, and a dream that never really died—it just got a mortgage and a couple of kids.

We’ve been making music together for over 15 years in a string of bands you’ve definitely never heard of (and that’s probably for the best). Now, under The DT’s banner, we’re embracing the chaos of real life and channelling it into short, sharp, slightly unhinged punk tracks.
