Este artículo presenta el proyecto BasqueParl, que utiliza técnicas de machine learning y procesamiento del lenguaje natural (PLN) para analizar la retórica política en el Parlamento Vasco (España). La investigación se basa en el análisis de actas parlamentarias de 2012 a 2020, sumando más de 13.8 millones de palabras en euskera y español. Se consideran variables como fecha, orador, sexo, partido e idioma. El proyecto sirve como ejemplo de code-switching en un entorno bilingüe. Se presenta un dashboard experimental con secciones como Interventions, Tables, LDA y Scattertext para visualizar los resultados. Entre los hallazgos, se destaca que el 21% de la producción retórica es en euskera, las mujeres intervienen menos y existe una distribución de temas políticos por género.
