Midnight Dreams

Them Crooked Vultures are a super group's super group, with John Paul Jones, Josh Homme, and Dave Grohl (from Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, and Foo Fighters/Nirvana respectively) playing insanely well together. 
I play Elephants, Caligulove, and Warsaw from the April 17, 2010 show in Las Vegas. This is good stuff from a band who should have released more music, imo.

I choose an easy one this week with a Winston Remaster of 3/17/73, Led Zeppelin in Munich, at their musical peak. I play Over the Hills, a sublime SIBLY, and of course an epic Dazed and Confused. Can't go wrong.

Led Zeppelin played the Schaefer Music Festival on July 21, 1969 in Central Park, NYC. This is early into the Les Paul days and the band were already recording their second album while on the road promoting their first. 
I play the three opening numbers, back to back, Train Kept A Rollin, I Can't Quit You, Baby, and Dazed and Confused. Even though they're still making a name for themselves they're already famous. They'll keep rising throughout the decade to heights unimagined.

Morrigan’s Howl was a French-Breton band led by Julien Moreau — singer, writer, shadow. Known for their haunting lyrics, analog aesthetics, and theatrical performances, the group released only four official albums before withdrawing from the public eye.

Their sound was a blend of psychedelic folk rock, 70’s ballads, and distorted intimacy. Every song felt like a lost letter. Every show, a ritual.

Rumors say they never truly split. Just vanished.

Alex Summerlin is an eclectic alternative and folk-rock musician who has played music professionally for over a decade around the Little Rock, AR, and Nashville, TN areas. Originally hailing from Bryant, AR, Alex was drawn to music at a young age by the generations of working musicians in his family.  He started playing cover music in local bars and clubs as young as 12 years old, playing music steadily throughout his teens and twenties.

Alex started writing music in college as a passion project to break out of the limitations he felt playing cover songs. There, he met fellow long-time musicians and collaborators Rick Scott and Chad Terrell, and they joined Alex to write and produce songs from their home studio in Maumelle, AR (WaterWoods Studio). 

Since then, Alex, Chad, and Rick have continued writing and producing songs that reflect influences from several genres and three generations of music they wish to share with anyone who will listen.
