Hot Creations welcomes Uzbekistan talent Trace to the mix for his deep grooving ‘Fake Friends’. 

Fresh from releases on Nervous Records, North Of Neptune, and Criterio Records, Trace continues to make a mark as a promising up-and-coming artist in the electronic music sphere. His breakthrough came last year with ‘Taka Doom’, released on Cloonee’s Hellbent Records, earning him a spot in the Beatport Top 10 and garnering huge support from luminaries such as Solomun, Fisher, Marco Carola, and more. Now, the Uzbekistani DJ/producer lands his debut on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Fake Friends’, adding another impressive label to his growing catalogue.

“Last year, I released ‘Taka Doom’ and managed to combine the groove with the vocal sample nicely. With this record, I decided to do the same but with a totally fresh and different vibe. I think that the result is pretty good!” - Trace. 

Launching with crisp percussion, 'Fake Friends’ unleashes a cascade of bumping bass licks amid tumbling sonics. The track's rhythmic precision and contagious groove seamlessly meld beneath the deep, infectious male vocals, embodying the dancefloors vibrant pulse.

Funky Mama

Landau and Bido first connected through social media, after years of playing at the same clubs. 
In early 2025, both were inspired by the new wave of bass-driven, groovy sounds and decided it was the perfect time to collaborate. 
Within a single studio session, the track I Just Like You came to life, with catchy vocal chops, a rolling bassline, and a groove that naturally blended both of their styles. Soon after, the track gained early support from artists like Solomun, AYYBO, and Elif, and that’s when we knew it had to be released. 
As Lee Foss gave great feedback, everything just fell into place.

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.

Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to “put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.” Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on ‘House & Pressure’ combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With ‘Crazy Bitch’ it’s a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. ‘Dark Keyless’ is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.

This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. With a wealth of new material still on the way and a hectic touring schedule in place, it’s clear this is only the start for the young artist.

Swedish producer Tiger Stripes, the alias of Mikael Nordgren, brings his techno touch to Hot Creations for his debut EP on the label this summer. Jack My Yum is a heavyweight three-parter that sees the Swede invite Hot Creations stable mate, Matt Tolfrey, to provide a stellar remix.

Opening track Jack My Yum is a warped and heavy roller with a smattering of dark vocals. Haunted brings with it a bass that you can feel reverberating off the concrete walls of a darkened club, interspersed with an eerie melody. Following his recent release Americas on the label, Leftroom Records boss Matt Tolfrey brings his groove and a bouncier bassline to proceedings with his version of the title track. Dunjacka completes the EP, with Nordgren sewing together a techno beat with broken vocal stabs, underpinned by a throbbing groove throughout.

Tiger Stripes has collaborated with legendary names such as Kerri Chandler, Adeva, Leroy Burgess, Riva Starr and Jerome Sydenham, with his brand of deep and futuristic techno seeing releases on some of the underground’s biggest imprints including Desolat, Drumcode and Cajual.

Fresh from a packed summer of Ibizan parties Darius Syrossian is back on Hot Creations with his pumping Danzer EP featuring a remix from the prolific remixer Adesse Versions.

Darius explains that the idea for Danzer was born out of frustration with current music sounding the same. Inspired by a Floorplan Boiler Room set he wanted to make a track “that has the energy of techno, some funk flavours and also heavily disco influenced. It became a firm favourite at my Amnesia residency with DO NOT SLEEP”.

Danzer is an utterly insatiable peak-time cut with a dizzying drop, powerful female vocal hook and scintillating strings. The techno tool version does what it says on the tin, adding an almighty bassline that reverberates throughout. Initially beginning life as a vinyl edits project, Adesse Versions has gone on to have releases on revered labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and womping synths.

2018 has been a huge year for Darius Syrossian. He began a new residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia, alongside big names including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan Fitzpatrick. No stranger to the White Isle, he’s also held down residencies at some of the island’s most prestigious venues. Syrossian has had releases signed to impressive imprints from Moon Harbour to 8Bit and Get Physical to We Are The Brave. This year also saw Darius begin his radio show on Rinse FM, with the imminent launch of his own label, Mozy Muzik, still to come.

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.
