This smart phone knows our contacts, calendar, health data, where we are and where we’re going, what we consume, our desires. And it eagerly passes on this information…

“Smartphone” is a solo project by producer One Ton: from lyrics to music to the video, he did everything himself. And this time he also sang himself, fully aware that he is not really a singer: “I see myself here in the tradition of Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Normally, he produced vocal artists, but sometimes he sang himself. Perry knew, that the creative idea was sometimes more important than the beauty of a perfect vocal — as you can hear in ‘Roast Fish & Cornbread’.”

The result from One Ton: contemporary trash reggae with a heavy bassline and a song idea that immediately sticks in your head. A summer burner!

ok here is a kinda biografy,
Dub Doctors are founded in feb. 2008 under the name Dutch Dub Dokters.
They dropped the dutch in D.D.D. last Feb. 2011 3 years later.
If you ask them what they are, the will answer, a Soundsystem/Soundcrew.
They are a Creativ collectiv of several Dj's/producers and Mc/Toasters/vocalists with a great love for dub reggae music and all the related dance music. 
Dub Doctors want to share this great love for this music by performing their unic Dj-show live at CLUBS, Festivals and all kinds of Parties through out Europa.
The music genres in wich they work are in general; DubReggae,Mindstep,Dubstep,RaggaStep,
Drumstep,DnB,Jungle,breakbeats,Electro,Deepstep uk -garage, Afro-house. (all baselined tunes!!)
The Dub Doctors will always perform a unic live dj-set with their 'Sound Operations' and unic live performed 'Detox Sound Shows'.
They will 'Operate' on 'the Sound that you'll hear'. The D.D. love to do their performances live folks!
Dub Doctors will accomplish this through their mixing skills with 'severe' soundbytes mixed with the weirdest effects and tunes. Before it touches your earhole the Dub Doctors will combine all the 'sound-pieces' and 'tunes' together so their skill full Mc's/toasters and vocalists can drop their 'skills' into it.
The Dub Doctors will touch your Soul trough your earhole.
