Grooviger Sound mit vielen Vocals und Melodien – das ist ihr Stil und ihre Art zu sagen: Musictistheanswer. Sie ist Mitgründerin der Crew & Eventreihe "Right Here Right Now" sowie Part eines Projektes mit dem Namen Let us. In diesem Sommer konnte sie einige Referenzen dazu gewinnen wie z. B. auf dem 3000Grad Festival, Wurzelfestival, Letzte Wiese Festival, Sage Beach oder dem Fundbuero in Hamburg. Der erste eigene Track steht auch schon in den Startlöchern...so keep your eyes and ears open!

Leeni ́s Weg führt von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern über Hamburg nach Berlin, wo ihre musikalische Reise hinter den Decks begann. Zuerst in gemütlicher Runde mit Freunden, dann auch nach und nach vor größerem Publikum wie z. B. auf dem 3000Grad Festival, dem Fundbuero & Waagenbau in Hamburg, dem Zwischenbau in Rostock oder auch in verschiedenen Clubs von Berlin. Ihr Stil hat sich im Laufe der Jahre entwickelt, zu einem groovigen Sound mit vielen Vocals und Melodien. Sie ist Mitgründerin der Crew & Eventreihe @rh_rn_berlin, welche seit 2019 am Start ist und Veranstaltungen organisiert, vor allem in dem Sinne: von Freunden für Freunde. Die ersten eigenen Tracks stehen auch schon in den Startlöchern.

INTERVIEW:
1. Wie lange legst du nun schon auf und wie hast du es gelernt?
Leeni: Auflegen habe ich in Berlin gelernt vor ca. 7 Jahren, wie auch bei so vielen, habe ich mir einen ersten Einblick bei Freunden geholt. Nachdem ich gemerkt habe, dass ich meine Freizeit gerne mehr mit Musik füllen möchte, aber meine Freunde nicht immer nerven will, habe ich DJ-Unterricht genommen und bin dort immer nach der Arbeit hin! Mega, für die work-life-music-balance :) Nach kurzer Zeit habe ich mir mit Freunden zusammen ein Musikraum angemietet, dort wurde dann geübt, bis zum umfallen. Ich war eine Zeit lang als DJ-Duo unterwegs & seit dem letzten Jahr auch als Solo-Künstlerin.

2. Gibt es ein bestimmtes Event an das du dich gern zurück erinnerst? 
L: Yeah, das war mein 30 Geburtstag! Dort habe ich morgens das Closing gespielt, der ganze Floor war voll mit meinen Freunden, das war mega! Als ersten Track habe ich dort einen Klassiker gespielt, der davon handelt, wie die Zeit sich verändert. Und das habe ich da auch gedacht, wie lange man schon in der Szene ist und wie sich das über die Jahre entwickelt hat. Vor allem viele langjährige Freundschaften sind durch die Musik entstanden&das wurde mir da so richtig bewusst, weil alle auch da waren! Best moment <3

3. Was wünscht du dir, sollte in der Clubszene .anders laufen?
L: anders laufen sollte, aber das wurde bei euch schon oft angesprochen, Newcomern auch die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich zu zeigen! 
Dann gibt es so viele Kollektive&Crews, ich finde, es sollte mehr Events geben, wo sich diese vereinen. Da entstehen dann super schöne Veranstaltungen mit Freunden für Freunde&das überträgt sich dann auch auf das Publikum. 

4. Wie würdest du deinen Sound beschreiben?
L: Deep - Minimal - Tech House / mit vielen Vocals und Melodien. 

5. Was liegt dir neben dem Auflegen noch sehr am Herzen? 
L: So gern, wie ich auflege, organisiere ich auch gerne, alles was dazu gehört! :) Ich mag es total gerne Events&Bookings zu planen und verbringe damit tatsächlich auch einen Großteil meiner Freizeit und mittlerweile auch meinen Arbeitsalltag. Nicht zu vergessen, steh ich total auf Fußball, liebe Grüße gehen hier an die Ostsee - FC Hansa :) und mein Hund, der liegt mir auch sehr am Herzen! 

6. Wenn du ein Wort wärst, welches wäre das?
L: Groove - dieses habe ich mir im letzten Jahr auch unter der Haut verewigen lassen

7. Hast du bestimmte Pläne und Ziele, von denen du uns erzählen möchtest?
L: Pläne&Ziele sind auf jeden Fall, wie ich es bei dem Wunsch was anders laufen soll, erwähnt habe, mehr Events mit anderen Crews&Kollektiven mit unserer Crew von Right here Right now zu veranstalten. Ich finde es mega, sich zu vernetzen und sich gegenseitig zu unterstützen! Wir planen jetzt auch gerade Events außerhalb von Berlin z. B. in Rostock oder Hamburg und möchten das gerne noch weiter ausbreiten. Und dort natürlich auch Newcomern die Möglichkeit geben sich zu zeigen und diese zu supporten. Dann bin ich schon seit einer Weile dabei die Kunst des Produzierens zu erlernen, aber das braucht Zeit! ;)

Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
