Met elke stap lijkt het pad mij te ontwijken
Schaduwen fluisteren, ik kan het licht niet bereiken
Waar schuilt de zin in dit verweesde bestaan?
Ik zoek een kompas, maar weet niet waarheen te gaan

Verdwaald in tijd, verlang ik naar bevrijding
Een antwoord dat breekt door mijn lijden en schuiling
Misschien ligt de weg diep in mijn eigen geest
Een verborgen pad waar hoop zachtjes wordt gefluisterd

Misschien vind ik troost in één teder gebaar

Iedereen raast vooruit, ieder naar zijn plek
