In deze meditatie gaan we oefenen in het loslaten en het laten zijn van iedere ervaring. We beginnen daarvoor bij het lichaam, bij het aanwezig zijn bij  - en met aandacht zijn in - het lichaam, dat ons thuis is, hier en nu. 

Na een aandachtige bodyscan van de ruimte van ons lichaam, bewegen we ons naar de geluiden om ons heen. We laten onze gedachten komen en gaan, omdat dit is wat onze gedachten nu eenmaal doen. Ze komen. Ze gaan. Ze liggen niet vast, ze stromen. En altijd is er de levendigheid en de vitaliteit van dit moment, waar we onze aandacht op kunnen richten.

Zo leren we om los te laten en om onszelf steeds weer te openen in de aanwezigheid van wat ook wel 'De Zes Woorden van Advies' van de wijze leraar Tilopa worden genoemd:

Laat los wat voorbij is.
Laat los wat kan komen.
Laat los wat er nu gebeurt.

Probeer niets uit te zoeken, 
probeer niets te laten gebeuren.
Ontspan je,
en rust.
