||ND3RGR0||ND sprawled beneath PHA₦TA5IA like a wound too deep to heal, a place where the shadows pulsed with life, and the air was thick with the scent of oil and sweat, metal and rebellion. It was a realm forged from steel and concrete, its narrow streets echoing with the relentless hum of machinery, as though the very heart of the city beat in rhythm with the raw, industrial energy that coursed through its veins. Here, neon lights flickered in defiance against walls smeared with grime and marked by the angry scrawls of graffiti, each stroke a testament to lives lived on the edge of survival and sedition.

||ND3RGR0||ND was a place where art was born not of luxury but of necessity, where creativity thrived in the cracks between survival and self-destruction. It was a world of contrasts, where beauty emerged in brutal forms, and pleasure took on a sharper edge, laced with the bitterness of deprivation. The Subterrans who inhabited this underworld moved like shadows given flesh, reveling in passions as fierce as they were fleeting, their nights filled with the pulse of music that throbbed like a heartbeat through the darkness. Their indulgences were visceral, intoxicating, fed by a hunger for something more—a yearning that seemed to rise from the depths of the earth, untamed and unrelenting.

Yet, beneath their revelry, a tension simmered, a barely contained rage that flared in glances and murmurs, a quiet rebellion against the world above. For the Subterrans knew of the Phantasians, their cousins who basked in the light, untouched by the grit and grime, their pleasures softer, their existence gilded by the luxury of ignorance. There was a silent war between them, an unspoken resentment that lingered in the shadows, a bitter reminder of the hierarchy that kept them bound to this world below, forever beneath, forever yearning for a sky they would never touch.

The Puppet Masters watched from on high, their invisible hands crafting this perfect division, each hierarchy a thread woven into a tapestry of control. The Subterrans could dance through their nights, could lose themselves in the beat and the lights, could find solace in their fierce, rebellious pleasures, but always with the knowledge that they were bound. The chains that held them were not forged of iron but of desire and denial, of a hierarchy that whispered of freedom even as it tightened its grip. And so, they danced, intoxicated by their own defiance, knowing that unlike the Phantasians above, they would never be allowed to ascend. Their world was one of shadows, but in those shadows, they found their own fierce light, a fire that burned in defiance of the darkness above.
