Primary marks the center of The Hymnal. It is ruled by Libra and positioned between sorrow, chaos, and transformation. In the myth, this is the golden age of the Arcani. Under Anthromancer’s silent guidance, the Arcanum brings power, beauty, and connection to all of Akash. Cities rise; matter bends, and the song of progress hums beneath.

In Mercenarium, Primary lets you glimpse the future—three Hymnal cards revealed, one chosen. It’s a quiet card, but one that can utterly reshape the game. In Dragonfruit, it represents knowledge: the power of understanding, the control of perception. Its alteration is empathy born of awareness.

Primary is the only instrumental track on the album. No lyrics. Just a chill, glassy sci-fi soundscape. Built in collaboration with Patrick Creselius, who brought dynamic shape and color to its minimalism.

When the noise grew too loud to carry wisdom, Astraea left. She didn’t rise in fire — she dissolved into the sky, step by quiet step. The stars blinked, and she became one of them. But before she vanished completely, she left the Scales behind. A symbol in the heavens — not to haunt, but to remind. Justice, now, would be no longer given. It must be lived.

Though the people could no longer see her, the stars still held her shape. The constellation Libra now hung in the sky, watching silently. The Scales no longer weighed nations — they weighed every step, every word, every choice. Balance had become a law of nature. You could not escape it — only align with it. It lives in your walk. It lives in your breath.

The myth becomes metaphor — the balance is no longer out there. It’s here. With us.

The inner reckoning
There are no temples for this justice. No judges. No jails. Only the heart. Every thought adds a feather or a stone. Every kindness, a seed. Every lie, a weight. When your time comes, no one else can carry what you’ve built inside. This song is not a warning — it’s a mirror. You are the scale. You are the judge. And love is the only measure.

A deeply personal song — turning the listener inward with gentle truth.

Hope, memory, and return to light
Though Astraea is gone, though the world wobbles with greed and confusion, the stars still shine. They always have. In the dark moments, they guide. In the quiet choices, they reward. You don’t need to see her to feel her. You don’t need perfection to walk right. The balance is in how we rise, fall, and rise again. Justice is not lost. It’s living — in you.

The journey ends in light — not from above, but from within.
