IZØTOPEV94, a collective previously set up as an event to highlight the rising talent in limerick, recent times have forced the collective to dabble in the digital world of music in an attempt to adapt to the society we find ourselves today. From live-streams to t-shirt releases and an ongoing mix series, IZØTOPEV94 has decided to take it one step further and curate its very own various artists compilation. Allowing artist from the V94 and beyond to flourish their music production skill that have been carefully crafted over the past few months. 

This groove infused V/A includes artists such as Chaz Moloney, Jon10, Prince Prada, Silky Klub and Taggy, all of which express their unique tastes in electronic music through genres ranging from House, electro, and techno with a hint of grime.

Our next instalment of the Local Selection invites Limerick-based DJ and producer Kule to the series. With a sound that is firmly embedded in euphoria, his contribution sees him skip through various shades of the emotion throughout this recording.

Kule has received a steady flow of support from a range of artists across the dance scene in recent times. Some notable mentions include Kettama, Skin On Skin, LB ak Labat and DJ Love. All of which are a fan of Kule’s feel-good take on production. He’s built a strong discography of tracks on his SoundCloud, having also collaborated with Beads and Willy XO. Not to mention his house alias DJ Ether which sounds like a breath of fresh air in a world that feels drawn to faster paces over the last few years.

Kule’s contribution to the series finds him at a place where he’s at ease. This includes plenty of euphoric synths, memorable piano lines and bustling basslines. Lock in for an hour of raw energy, nostalgia and a healthy dose of original productions from the man himself as he effortlessly blurs the lines between house and techno.
