Artist's biography :
gdss is a French DJ, designer, and sonic explorer crafting immersive sets and
installation where deep sound, emotions and architecture converge. His creations
evoke emotional journeys—between introspection and trance, where textures,
rhythms, and sensations intertwine. He co-runs the multidisciplinary label Face Æ
and the night collective ONSHORE. As part of V SENS, he bridges sound with
space, material, and perception.

gdss's words :
Opening the night at Macadam was a deeply special moment—stepping into the
booth of the club that raised me, just before two of the greatest, Rrose and
Woody92. I introduced my sound slowly, threading it through shadows and echoes,
letting it bloom with care. The set unfolds like a slow tide — hypnotic, organic, rising
and receding—built to blur the lines between body and space, between pulse and
silence. Carried by textures that breathe and rhythms that flicker, it explores the
delicate balance of light and dark. A movement inward and outward, designed to lose
yourself in, and perhaps return slightly altered.

Frameb: a quartet featuring tenor saxophone, piano, double bass, and drums. This project emphasizes live music, enriched by recorded voices and speeches that are seamlessly integrated into the compositions. These voices deepen the exploration of the themes chosen by the group, which, in this case, focus on Climate Change and the ongoing crisis in Palestine.

Hey Jude (Live @ Bistrot 2019) – FACTORY

Quando i FACTORY affrontano Hey Jude dal vivo al Bistrot nel 2019, lo fanno con un trasporto genuino e una passione palpabile. Sin dalle prime note, si avverte l’intento non solo di omaggiare un classico, ma di viverlo fino in fondo, di reinterpretarlo lasciando spazio all’emozione e all’intensità.
La voce di Fabrizio Cherubini guida il brano con sensibilità, lasciando che ogni parola si carichi di significato. La band segue in perfetto equilibrio: Giorgio Sale accompagna con discrezione e gusto, mentre la sezione ritmica – Chris Pain al basso e Luca Monaco alla batteria – tiene un tempo fluido e rotondo, pronto a esplodere nel climax finale.
Ed è proprio lì che il brano si trasforma. Il lungo finale diventa incandescente, una vera e propria jam psichedelica che cresce, si espande, coinvolge. Il protagonista assoluto è l’Hammond di Silvio Vinci: il suo solo, incisivo e profondo, squarcia l’aria con potenza e lirismo, portando l’intera esecuzione su un altro piano.
Una performance intensa, commossa, liberatoria. I FACTORY dimostrano ancora una volta di saper entrare nel cuore dei grandi brani, per restituirli vivi, vibranti, personali.

Instant Karma (Live @ Bistrot di Sassari, Inverno 2019) – FACTORY

Nella cornice intima e vibrante del Bistrot sassarese, i FACTORY si cimentano con uno dei brani più iconici di John Lennon, Instant Karma, offrendo una versione ricca di energia, intensità e spirito anni Sessanta, eseguita con la solita formazione d’eccellenza e un tocco speciale.
La voce di Fabrizio Cherubini è il cuore pulsante della performance: decisa, coinvolgente, piena di pathos e con quella lieve vena ruvida che ben si sposa con l’urgenza espressiva del brano. La sua interpretazione cattura perfettamente lo spirito di Lennon: tra provocazione e speranza.
Giorgio Sale, alla chitarra, cesella fraseggi taglienti e incisivi, senza mai sovraccaricare, lasciando che siano i silenzi e le dinamiche a dare profondità. Chris Pain al basso e Luca Monaco alla batteria sono la colla ritmica che tiene tutto insieme, con un groove serrato ma mai eccessivo, perfettamente bilanciato.
La vera chicca, però, è l’intervento di Silvio Vinci al pianoforte: il suo tocco deciso e percussivo dona al brano una forza propulsiva straordinaria. Ogni accordo è un pugno sul tavolo, ogni passaggio un salto d’energia, costruendo un climax trascinante che culmina in un finale travolgente.
Un’interpretazione sentita e potente, figlia del miglior spirito live. I FACTORY dimostrano ancora una volta come i grandi classici, se suonati col cuore e con rispetto, possano rinascere e parlare con voce nuova.
