Produtor, instrumentista e Dj, Rafael Barreto é reconhecido mundialmente na cena da música eletrônica. Com grandes influências do seu pai, o interesse pela música começou aos 5 anos, ouvindo rock e admirando os integrantes das bandas no palco.

Natural de Recife, o contato do artista com o eletrônico começou na sua cidade natal frequentando festas matinês com amigos da escola. Com olhar curioso em saber o que um DJ sentia no palco, aos 18 anos, Rafael se mudou para São Paulo para se conectar com a vida noturna que a cidade proporcionaria. 

O DJ transita entre os estilos House e Tribal House. Um dos feats que mais se orgulha é com o  Leo Mendez, na faixa “Higher Than Higher”, que ficou marcado na pele, com uma tatuagem no braço, com o nome do single em onda sonora na voz do Leo.

Tendo um público brasileiro muito fiel, ele realiza uma média de duas a três tours no exterior. Seu maior sonho é sempre estar presente nas paradas e chegar aos palcos de grandes festivais pelo mundo. Literalmente escrito no seu peito, Rafael Barreto leva consigo o lema de nunca desistir dos seus sonhos.

Producer, instrumentalist and DJ, Rafael Barreto is recognized worldwide in the electronic music scene. With great influences from his father, his interest in music started when he was 5 years old, listening to Rock Music and admiring the members of the bands on the stage. 

Born in Recife, his connection with Electronic Music began in his hometown by attending matinees parties with friends from the school. With a curious thought about what a DJ feel on the stage, at 18 years old, Rafael moved to São Paulo, the biggest city of Brazil, to feel the connection with the nightlife that the city would provide. 

The DJ moves between House and Tribal House styles. One of the most proud featuring was with Leo Mendez, on the track "Higher than Higher", which was literally stamped on his skin, with a tattoo on his arm, with the name of the Single on the wave sound of Leo's voice. Besides being his first Single, it was also his first Videoclipe.

Having a very loyal Brazilian audience, he usually takes two or three tours abroad. His biggest dreams is to be always present on the charts and reach the stages of the major festivals around the World. Literally on his chest, Rafael Barreto takes the sentence  "Never give up on your dreams" as a motto of his career. It's very important to have something to fight for and never give up.

Hailing from Saratoga Springs, New York, DJ Prophet has carved out a remarkable 17-year career in the Northeast's electronic music scene, marked by his exceptional skill and unwavering dedication to his craft.

A significant early milestone in his journey was achieved in 2012 when DJ Prophet reached the semi-finals of the 2012 Sobe's Clash of the DJs in Miami, Florida. This early success established him as a formidable presence in the regional DJ circuit.

His career trajectory took a dramatic upswing in 2015 with a pivotal victory at the Mysteryland USA DJ Contest. This win afforded him the opportunity to perform an electrifying set at the Beatport Stage, where he played alongside luminaries such as Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, and A-Trak, further solidifying his standing as a notable talent in the electronic music industry.

The year 2018 marked another significant career highlight for DJ Prophet when he, along with DJ Papa Giorgio, won the Groove Cruise Miami DJ Contest, creating the popular duo Brunch Boyz. This triumph propelled them into the limelight, allowing them to perform with industry giants on a luxury cruise, thereby cementing his reputation within the music world.

Throughout his illustrious career, DJ Prophet has shared stages with electronic music icons including A-Trak, Avicii, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, and Tiësto, showcasing his prowess and versatility within the scene. A defining moment in his career occurred when Diplo featured DJ Prophet's remix of Rüfüs Du Sol's acclaimed track "Innerbloom" in his sets at major events like Lollapalooza in Chicago and New York Fashion Week. Diplo also highlighted DJ Prophet's remix of Kanye West's "Carnival" on the 300th episode of Records on Records on Diplo's Revolution on SiriusXM, further marking a significant milestone in his career.

DJ Prophet's remix of "Carnival" recently reached the #1 position on BPM Supreme's Top 50 Dance Tracks of the week in April 2024, marking his first track to trend at the top in online DJ record pools. Additionally, his remix of Above & Beyond's iconic track "Sun & Moon" has been supported by internationally recognized DJs such as Vintage Culture, DJs from Mars, and Mark & Kremont, continuing to affirm his influence in the electronic music scene.
