The Groove On Livecast w/ Chris Valencia: Episode 2

This magical 3hr warm-up was recorded on December 1. during the event w/ TheiaCrush at 𝗖 𝗜 𝗔 𝗟 𝗢 club in Wrocław, Poland.

𝗗 𝗝  𝗫 𝗪 𝗜 𝗙 𝗘  is an Iceland native and Reykjavík local. Connecting unexpected versatile fast-paced selections with a unique approach, they often showcase emotional ethereal tracks with a broad musical spectrum mixed with a raw edge. Serving up unpredictable selections, while remaining an obscure aptitude for genre jumping.

One of the highlight moments in his DJ journey was a performance at 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘, the event organized by techno.reykjavik, where he was sharing the decks with one of the hottest names in Poland - naked relaxing.

Co-founder of Radio Gufan (www.radiogufan.is), which is more of a meeting space and creating a community focused around electronic music rather than radio, he’s deeply invested in supporting the local scene. By creating new initiatives (such as Ambient Sunday as part of the Sequences Art Festival or building up an underground club), he constantly contributes to the growth of club culture in the capital of Iceland.

Irshad also took part in Boiler Room x iN Baku, further solidifying his international presence.

Hailing from Miami, Florida, Chris Valencia has become synonymous with the vibrant nightlife of the city over the past decade. Known for his high-energy sets and dynamic stage presence, he has played alongside with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Tiesto, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso, Afrojack, Kaskade, Zedd, Diplo, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, James Hype, Claptone, and Luciano, among others. However, Chris’s talents extend far beyond the DJ booth. With a long list of original productions and remixes on respected labels like Toolroom, Juicy Music, Armada, Made in Miami, Nervous, Wyld Card, Happy Techno, and No Definition, he has established himself as a versatile and accomplished producer. Throughout his journey, he has garnered notable support from industry legends such as Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grand, Thomas Gold, Robbie Rivera, Oscar G, and Stonebridge, as well as titans like Cedric Gervais, Kryder, CID, and R3wire. With many more projects and collaborations on the horizon, the future looks remarkably bright for Chris as he continues to connect with audiences around the globe through his music.

Thorin Tønsberg ist ein erfolgreicher Technomusiker, der früher unter dem Namen Eric Kanzler als Teil des Duos Kanzler & Wischnewski bekannt war. Er hat einen einzigartigen Sound und einen unverwechselbaren Stil, der ihn zu einem der einflussreichsten Techno-Künstler seiner Generation gemacht hat.

Geboren in Nürnberg, Bayern, wuchs Thorin Tønsberg mit einer Leidenschaft für Musik auf und entdeckte schnell seine Vorliebe für elektronische Musik. Nachdem er eine Weile als Solo-Künstler aufgetreten war, traf er Andree Wischnewski, und sie gründeten das Duo Kanzler & Wischnewski.
