「実は今回のリミックスプロジェクトのオファーを受ける直前に、Logic Systemのアルバム『Logic』のLPを今住んでいるドイツのコローンという街で偶然見つけたんだよ。すぐにアルバム全体の内容に惚れたんだけど、特に40秒間のイントロのサウンドがすごい気に入ったんだ。で、最近夕方のニュースをよく見るんだけど、速報ニュースなどに使われているサウンドトラックに興味を持つようになっていて、それがきっかけで今回のオリジナル曲の「Intro」を速報ニュースなどのシリアスな場面に合うように作れば面白いかなと思ったんだ。それでいて、ヒップホップ的なアプローチもうまくミックスできればと思って制作したよ。」 

"By coincidence, I actually found the Logic System LP in the town I live in shortly before getting asked to do this remix project. I immediately fell in love with the whole thing, although the 40 second intro song really stuck out. I've been watching a lot of evening news lately, and have come to enjoy the soundtracks of breaking stories, and I thought it would be fun to make the "Intro" song into a very serious piece of headline news. And then screw it all up by turning it into hip hop."

「だいぶ前に町田の中古レコード屋でたまたま買った松武さんの「007シリーズ・カバー集」のレコードが初体験でした。出会ったタイミングが自分にとって凄くバッチリで、かなり衝撃を受けたお気に入り盤です。そしていつしか自分もシンセ使う様になり光栄な事にREMIXさせてもらう事になったんですが、予想もしない事態に決まった時はビビりました。LOGIC SYSTEMはダニエル・バルデッリのコズミック・サウンドや、DJ的な再評価もあったと思うんですが、それとはまた別に新しくアーバンなイメージで捉えて、時代感が点と点でしか繋がらない様な「今」っぽいREMIXをしてみたくなったので、頂いた素晴らしいサンプルをほとんど使わず、ほぼ新しい曲を作らせてもらいました。あとソフト・シンセだけでやりました。結果、LUVRAW&BTBとしても新しい試みで出来て楽しかったです。キラキラとコズってアーバンです。贅沢な音楽体験、光栄な縁に感謝しています。ありがとうございました☆」

「僕が松武秀樹さんの発する電子音を初めて聴いたのは2、3歳の頃、おそらく電子戦隊デンジマンのイントロです。といってもそれが氏によるものだと知ったのはごく最近なのですが。つまりLogic Systemのサウンドとは、僕の思い描く未来の音、未知の音の原風景そのものであり、それを今回こういった形でリミックスさせてもらえたのはなんだか感慨深いものがあります。僕たちがピックアップした”UNIT”、原曲は熱くなりすぎない抑制の利いたグルーヴがすごくタイトで、展開や曲の成り立ちなんかを聴いて、改めてそのタイムレスっぷりに驚きました。クールで淡白な良さが光るそれを、僕たち流に粘着系オフビートでねっとりとアップデートしてみました。是非原曲と聴き比べてみてください。」

「これまでもRLPと共作は何度もしてきましたが、2人でリミックスをさせてもらうのは、TOKiMONSTA – “Solitary Joy ft. Shuanise (RLP & sauce81 remix)” に次いで今回が2回目。まずはRLPに、Logic System – “UNIT”をネタに基本となるループとビートを組んでもらい、その上に僕がコードやベース、いろんな装飾音やフレーズを重ねていきました。僕が演奏した 音楽的な要素を素材として、RLPがビートメーカー視点でエディット。ある程度構成が出来上がった段階で、改めて展開やアレンジ、音色や鳴りなどを2人で 議論して仕上げました。Logic Systemが30年前に描いた未来の音は、2012年になっても未来の音であり、僕らはこのリミックスで、タイムパラドクスを起こしてしまったのではな いかと、おもわずロマンチックなことを考えてしまいました。」
