It's not a concept, a genre, or a plan. It's just a series of tracks that were born out of the same state - when the night is dragging on and your brain wants rhythm, not words.

I didn't think about it for a long time. I just caught the groove and laid it down without anything else.

No melody, no meaning - just movement, tension, and groove.

Inspired by Blue Man Group, this track leans into heavy percussive textures, looping rhythms, and sound performance energy.

What started as a fun experiment turned into a frustrating build, but finally landed in the right place. Definitely one of the more chaotic tracks in the set.

TWO SILHOUETTES is a project written and produced by Sam Holloway, with contributions from singers including Clive Browne, Francesca Allen, Imran Rumjon, Sam Hacking, Dave Selby and Ollie Godwin, and musicians including Kev Cousins (bass), Liam Doyle (saxophone), Anna-Helena McLean (cello), Mallory Khalifa (cahon), and Lucy Newholm (flute).

Two Silhouettes is based in London. Sam grew up near Bristol then moved to South London, where he began self-producing an album or two a year. Two Silhouettes have a habit of playing in dark basements, pokey galleries and French bars.

The music is one-third live vocal/instrument recordings, one-third computer programmed sounds, and one-third music/film/audio recorder samples.
