Out of breath we run through the world, believing there is only one reality. However, if there is one certainty in this world, it’s cognitive dissonance. Opposite feelings and realities exist in parallel. However, holding two conflicting truths feels uncomfortable or even painful. It somehow doesn’t feel right, because we are wired to pick one truth and run with it. Convinced that holding steady while hosting different truths will lead us to a deeper understanding of the world, to more connection and solidarity. Deeper connection to all people we encounter. Because we will consider their truth and reality to be true. And if only we could stop them for a moment to tell them that other people’s truths are true as well.

Alina from Lucerne discovered her love for electronic music and started spinning records four years ago. She's all about those pumpy, groovy vibes with playful vocals and loves bringing fresh energy and fun to every set.

Well what inspired you to become a DJ?
"I once went to a house party with friends, and there was a DJ setup. A friend and I decided to give it a try, and we had the best time! After that, we were so hooked that we started meeting up regularly to practice. The more I got into it, the deeper I fell into electronic music, and I loved discovering new tracks and catching the groove ever since!"

What has been your most memorable performance or moment as a DJ?
"I played at a festival in Switzerland, and I had never performed in front of so many people before. I was so nervous, but as soon as I got started and connected with the audience through the music, I felt completely at ease. The vibe was amazing, and playing my favourite tracks and dancing to them with the crowd was insane!"

DRIFT Session 005 - NUNO&STAN

NUNO&STAN bring a playful, likable energy to the decks, always keeping things fun and never too serious. Known for their bouncy, groovy basslines and creative twists on familiar tunes, they make every set a journey of discovery and nostalgia. Whether delivering intense, floor-shaking rhythms or setting the mood for a joyful, groovy afternoon, the two know how to adapt to any crowd. Their sound is designed to make you move and leave you with memories, blending infectious beats with melodies that linger long after the last track. From sunset vibes to peak-time madness, their sets are all about unforgettable music and good vibes.

Stan discovered his passion for DJing during his time living in Bali, where he played funky, groovy tunes in various venues like Disco Pizza Palace and more, creating uplifting vibes for the crowd. When he moved back to Zurich, he continued to spread his feel-good energy in places like Seebad Enge, always driven by his desire to make people feel good through music.

Nuno started his musical journey in another duo, «medøefso», with a focus on Italo Disco and Trance. Through his work with the Schwing und Stampf label, he had the opportunity to play at venues like Neubad Klub and Kaffeekind in Lucerne, as well as the Schwing und Stampf festival. He still is engaged with the Schwing und Stampf Label alongside DRIFT which we've been helping to grow since day one. Together, we've been fortunate enough to play at amazing venues like Gerold’s Garten, Hive, Giesserei, Stall Valär (Davos), Stenna Club (Flims), Kiosk (Lucerne) and we can’t wait for what’s next.

Our story is as unique as our sound: two souls, both born in early March under the sign of Pisces – a constellation that reflects our emotional depth, creativity, and strong intuition. These shared traits have shaped not only a deep friendship over many years, but also a common current: a passion for electronic music and the dream of creating something together.

We embrace the beauty and power of contrast: feminine and masculine –  and beyond, reflective and impulsive, quiet and loud, vulnerable and powerful, mystical and grounded, soft and raw, dreamy and structured. These aren’t contradictions – they’re the essence of our Paradox. They drive us. They define us.
