This week we’re going straight from one of Jesus’ most beloved parables to one of His least. Readers across the centuries have wrestled with this one, since at first glance it seems to condone dishonesty. It’s a good reminder that parables often have one central point—so we shouldn’t try to apply every detail literally. Let’s walk through this one together and see what Jesus wants us to learn. Un soleil se gonfle un peu comme un crapaud
Vaniteux, prétentieux, croyant être un taureau
Un faisan, ras du sol, se prenant pour un fauve

Incubé, propulsé, solidement incrusté
Consacré, protégé par des médias achetés
Couronné par malheur pour toute la société

Se croyant tout puissant sur les flots, les marées
Méprisant, fracassant de braves gens apeurés
Accroché comme une moule au pouvoir du rocher

Il se prend pour le vent mais n'est que la girouette

As we think about the use of our time, talents, and treasures during this October Stewardship month, we find ourselves hearing about the unrighteous judge and the persistent widow.  The unrighteous judge does not give justice to the widow because justice is what she deserved, rather because he did not want to be bothered by her anymore.  As we see that we are not always persistent with the use of our time, talents, and treasures to God, we see that God serves justice to us as Jesus goes to the cross.

Sous la houlette sonore sans concession de Pierrick Noël (Atelier_Mastering), un album rock d'une quinzaine de titres voit ainsi le jour à l'automne 2025, en symbiose avec le moment social qui va parcourir le pays.
